Absolutely some of the most vile human beings to ever play any game. In the last 19 games STRAIGHT, someone on either side has been disgustingly racist, rude, hateful and just plain ignorant. You log onto play and get away from all the BS only to be met by someone who takes out their obvious hurt on the online world. Ive been playing this game and have enjoyed it since its inception and its disheartening to see the game destroyed.
What about people that go online to escape the social rules of irl? To be themselves/express themselves freely?
Ignore/mute speech you don't like, that's the solution

Idk man, I played SMTIE, and it was arguably way worse.
At least League has good people throughout it if you joke around enough.
Riot doesn't seem to understand that banning accounts just makes people more pissed off and therefore more toxic. If they fixed the matchmaking system, balanced the champions, and punished people who refuse to help their allies, 90% of the toxic behavior would disappear.
Treat the cause, not the symptom.
seeing as you've been playing almost exclusively URF for the past month, that makes it even sadder. People have forgotten that games are for having fun.
You should start muting if it affects you so much.
