Take power away from Trolls

I see that Riots only solution is to ban people who are Toxic/Trolling others. Whether if they say something people dont like, feed enemy team, or go afk they still control your experience for those 30-60 minute games. Sure you can report them, but until the game is over (And you can't say anything negative to them, Wobbly Jibbler says it's not your job to defend yourself) you have to put up with them. Even if they get banned after who knows how long, they can just create a new account and keep on going. How about instead of being purely reactionary against trolls, what if you took away what trolls can do?

  • Afkers are an issue, so what if you made a bot that played for that player that left the game? Sure the bot isn't that good most of the time, but you'd still have that extra champ on your side. If the afker comes back, let them play. They just dont get IP after the match is over.

  • People speaking "Negatively" seems to be what Riot does the most about, so how about you just make the punishment match the crime and keep restricting their chat. Every time they get punished for something chat related, make it so the timer for a new chat is increased by another minute. No limit cap to this. Start off with 1 new line each 5 minutes 1 new line each 6 minutes

etc until it end up that person only has 3 starting opportunites to say anything all match. Kind of up to them how they want to spend it until that point, but you could also make it so they get less starting chat lines if the time for new ones gets high enough.

  • Intentional feeders for the most part is the hardest to fix. The best way I can think of would be to make killing champions worth little to nothing after 2-3 deaths. After that, if they kill someone, their value does not go back up. The fact is champion kills are the most valuable things early game, this is where feeders tend to do the most damage. You can make it so champion kills are worth very little early game (you get punished hard enough being away from lane anyways) and can scale higher as the game goes on. That's 2 things you could do for that. I dont expect people to like either one but I'm not seeing any other opinions from anyone else.

My advice to Riot: Stop dealing with trolls only after the damage is done. Take away their ability to do these things to begin with. If these 3 things are what they're using to create negative experiences, take these things away from them.

How about an automatic pause for a game where the system see's that someone has disconnected ?
