Players who intentionally try to tilt others

Its pretty sad but Ive noticed since I joined league, theres probably about 5% or more, of members, who will intentionally try to tilt their team mates just so they can report them. They get a kick out of seeing the "player has been punished" sign.

They will say pretty nasty stuff that doesnt get picked up by the chat filter made by a bunch of plebian software developers.

there should be a new report option that says aggravation/aggrivation.

I usually just mute my entire team but Ive had trolls who will follow me around (as jungle ) and just try to kill my animals steal the gold, press control 4, and dance. Since we are forced to sit back and take the abuse, there should be an option to report the aggrivator.

This fits under unsportsmanlike.

this really needs to be addressed.

riot's stance of "mute and report" only works for so long. and the people who dont get punished due to being flamebaited either dont play often enough to get banned by it, or only play bots/aram

If you say something along the lines of:

"If I die again I will AFK" or "if you don't gank my lane I'm AFK"

I'm going to watch the map. I'm going to wait for you to have 200 hp with an enemy clearly about to kill you. I am going to ping DANGER 10 times in a row.

I'm not breaking any rules.

You, however, already broke rules by threatening to go AFK. So if I can push you off the edge with a ping and get you to actually do it (increasing the likelyhood you'll get punished), I'll eat the loss and go for it.

also. i dont like how it says " most people punished for unsportsmanlike conduct are usually having a bad day and wont do it again" that seems very suspiciously like theyre trying to desensitize people to reports

Complicated.

see I don't buy the "It's their fault they got offended, I was just joking but they banned me" excuse. That is silly since if they were offended you said something offensive.

But here my first thought is that they shouldn't of reacted, that they should of had self control and ignored them... but you are right this is kind of the same situation isn't it.

I have to admit there have been a couple of times where someones attitude just made it impossible for me to not want to troll them. I was playing Lux in mid lane and my Warwick jungler (this was a long time ago) wouldn't give me blue.. so I Lasered blue buff from mid lane and stole it from him... that made him sooo mad.... next time it came up again.... I couldn't resist doing it again and I was successful and he rage quit.

I didn't feel at the time I was really being that toxic, I didn't understand why the warrick was so salty, right from the start of the match.

The tricky thing is that It is much easier to have self control when it comes to not reacting, its not as silly as the statement "don't get offended on the internet". didn't you have to deal with this in school? its always the kid that reacted that got in trouble.

Following your jungler around and stealing their stuff to put them way behind is not playing to win.. that is something that is clearly wrong and I am pretty sure you can report them for that. But some other things like "you are bad" and ping spaming is harder to call a reportable offense even if it tilts your allies.
