What can you do when they run it down mid

It's the second time it happens in the last 24 hours, I get a teammate who gets tilted and just runs it down mid for the whole match (as a midlane player this kinda ruins my whole game). How can you save such a game? I had a khazix who failed a lvl 1 invade so he just ran it down mid and just now I had a bard who died in the enemy jungle at lvl 3 while collecting his trinkets, and of course, he decided to run it down mid. Any match is winnable but how do you win a 4v5 match in which enemy velkoz / yasuo has 10 kills within the first 8 minutes, or worse, when the whole enemy team is fed as hell early?

This one is hard because like you said you’re a midlaner. I do top lane so my usual thing is to just mute the person and continue playing. Usually they’ll snap back into the game. Last time it happened it was a lux who didn’t get healed from adc in the first fight. They fed kills to mid lane and jungle. But as we continued playing they started to participate again.

Not talking to them is key I think. Because their mental is already unstable, verbally communicating with them just stirs the pot even more. Again I’m not 100% sure if there is a fix since usually they don’t end up inting into my lane.

if they just run down mid their gold's worth is quickly decaying, so they "only" give your opponents 1300 gold for 6 deaths. And then 100 gold per death.

That's not SO much, you can still win, it's hard but it's possible. Now i like to play from behind and I like these challenge, but the game might not be fun at all. People tend to play carelessly when they think they can't lose, abuse this.

If you kill the opponent that got all the kills he will have a 700 gold bounty. Which means you can get 1000 gold if you manage to kill him. It might get you back in the game.
