Report System is Broken

I'm sorry to be a whiny brat, but i'm really sick and tired of the report system in this game. Yes i'm aware that I'm generally toxic and deserve whatever punishments i get. However, when there is players in my game literalliy inting and trying to make my experience worse, I have a right to be upset. They're taking time out of their day to ruin mine. And of course, after reporting them guess who never gets an instant feedback report? That's right, me! I'm so sick and tired of reporting inters and feeders and never getting results out of it but getting chat restricted for telling them to stop being an ass hole. Fix your report system Riot, this is absurd.

Not getting an instant feedback report doesn't mean that they haven't received a punishment.

For future games, Don't bother trying to talk "trolls" or "inters" into playing better or to stop ruining the game, It is a waste of time and the best thing you can do is to focus on playing as good as you can.

If they are being toxic, mute them and report them after the game is over.

So when others "int", Riot should stand up and ban them, but when you int, people should just shrug, or should people also be allowed to flame you, what are you asking or here?

I just made a post about this same thing. There are people ruining the game or doing things like legit death threats and saying really messed up things and acting on what they say. Or they clearly Int/troll/be toxic in game, It's as clear as daylight and yet they go free without any punishment. Meanwhile, people get banned for telling someone to stop.

I 100% agree with what you're saying. You can get punished for literally saying things like "stop trolling" if other players report you. I've heard that for chat restrictions, if the system flags you (because of reports in part), you're pretty much screwed unless you literally did nothing that could possibly be construed as toxic. Some of my friends have been punished because of jokes aimed at their friends that other people not involved consider toxic. I love league, but I hate that it seems like the only way to be safe is to not talk at all.

What's the fun in a competitive online multiplayer game when you can't talk some smack. I totally understand that there are certain things that go too far and shouldn't be said, but lately it seems that the only way you can play the game without risking getting penalized is to just not talk at all. Because one little thing that butt-hurts one of these little babies gets you a report.

I understand that Riot needs to try and alleviate the toxic community this game is known for, but that's just the nature of the business. Penalizing people for saying something that may not even be considered toxic or negative, while many more serious offenders are left unscathed.

This game feels like a community of cry babies that just complain and complain, and report for feeling offended in a video game. Boo hoo, you called me bad at a video game, and I'm so hurt so I will report you for verbal abuse. Cmon...
