A Hacker Got Me Perma-banned

So I stop playing league for 5 months and when I revisit my main after those 5 months I find my account being Permanently banned. I go to college and classes are important so I took a break and stopped playing. For some reason apparently someone managed to break into my account and get my main account banned. I've read that permanently banned accounts can't be recovered and the user has to suck it up and deal with it. Well, I have to suck up the harsh reality that I didn't touch my account for 5 months and it got banned? Second of all, this hacker changed the name of the account while I, the original user, was inactive. I created the account as Chaimaster123. I stopped playing on that account around the last two weeks of December 2018. I revisit today to find out it was banned. The current name is Greatest Vibe. I'm not expecting Riot Games to unban the account, but I just want them to be aware that this has happened and I hope they will look further into this in order to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for reading.

So if you made a ticket on this and explained this story (With proof provided of course or even your IP Address can be used as proof too) you could be un-banned most likely. I've had friends who actually were un-banned from permanent bans and yet they were banned for being toxic and that's without someone who hacked their account. So just email support and tell them that story and ask if they can please check the difference in the IP, account activity, etc.

There isnt much of a way that you can prove that you had your account stolen. There is a way you can prove that account was yours but after that the only thing they can go off of is the last ip it was logged into on, which if you went to college there wouldnt exactly be a way you could prove that you didnt just change the name yourself and get it banned. If you can somehow prove everything without any doubt then they "might" give it back. But i wouldnt expect them to investigate for you.

I too am a victim of this, just yesterday, a player logged into my account and played as Sona on the Howling Abyss. They must have used scripts, and my account has been permanently banned... frankly, I'm heartbroken, my account is 7 years old, I wouldn't be stupid enough to blatantly script a random match knowing full well I'd face the consequences... I hope you and I can have our unfair bans reversed. I sent in a ticket and told Riot where I'm from and to check login activity.
