Idea for ranked games

Let me start by saying this is the first time i post here. Before i lay out my idea let me lay out some problems we all face in ranked games. Players who troll, players who are toxic, players who go afk, etc etc The current reporting system aims at actually punishing the players but there is no guarantee you won't end up with them again. Moreover, it only aims to eliminate toxicity and negativity and does not actually affect gameplay. A couple of weeks ago i had a player who was intentionally feeding in a game and for some reason his name got glued in my memory. Two weeks later: bam he is on the same team with the same attitude and i start thinking how on earth did i end up with him again. (in case you are wondering we lost and he did the same).

I am solution oriented and won't sit and rant on this forum about players or their skills. So i came up with this idea that might be the solution to our community problem.

After the game, besides the reporting feature we should get as a team (not the enemy team) a voting option where you can select one of the following:

• Would play again with
• Wouldn't want to play again with
• Out of his league
• Smurf

So game is over and you get to vote. If you voted would play again with then the player was skilled, fun to play with, and positive. The result of the vote would actually determine whether you run into the guy again or not. Moreover, players who get this vote will have a higher probability of being matched up together.

Wouldn't play again with (same as above). However, the good thing is that those players will be pooled up together and they can keep on ruining their own games.

Out of his league, would be aimed to players who are highly unskilled but boosted or got lucky to be placed in a higher division

Smurf, would actually pool up the smurfs based on votes and pool them into games together.

The system would actually have to rely on data collecting and actual votin; however, different weights can be placed on each vote etc. (I can explain more if you find this interesting)

Last but not least, voting should be only open to the same team and not give the enemy a reason to vote you out as a smurf or unskilled player.
