Toxic Grace Period?

Just got banned for toxicity, and while I won't dispute that I was indeed toxic I do want to ask a few things. I was sent two chat logs, one being from the most recent game I played which makes sense but the other chat log is literally from November. At what point does Riot decide that a chat log is no longer indicative of a player's behavior? On top of that, why are you holding my records of toxic chat from months ago but there's people who drop hard racist comments and don't ever see the ban message?

I literally watched a guy's account for two weeks after he spent the whole game hitting me with all kinds of slurs, no bans. When will you actually explain how your report system works instead of just telling us it does?

The IFS works on games played, not on time. You had a long break, so those games were considered recent because you didn't have many games since then.

Companies act accordingly when their bottom line suffers. Once people start quitting league in mass because they dont explain the report system in depth enough, they will start to explain it more in depth/change the reporting system. Random kids here n there bitching about it in forums wont change anything.

They forgive previous misbehavior over time and games played. You could be toxic af, get a 14 day ban, quit for a YEAR, and come back and be at risk of permaban still. You have to show an improvement in behavior. If you dont improve your behavior over 5 months, they're gonna show you examples throughout that 5 months of what you did wrong. None of us have exact numbers, because as you know, they arent gonna share that kind of info that would help trolls n shit skirt the system. Obviously.
