There has to be some shit in the system that declares a certain number of deaths as inting

Make the number required lower per elo, I.E, 40 times in Iron is an int, 20 times in Diamond is an int, this rule cancels out if the game is 30-35 minutes or longer.

If your dying 27 times in 25 minutes in Diamond your inting

People have bad games but 40 deaths isnt a bad games, its someone running it down

a couple of reasons this wouldnt work IMO:

  • feeding =/= intentionally feeding, therefore number of deaths is actually irrelevant. you could be 0/100 but still attempting to win the game, as well as be 2/4 and still be inting.
  • not even in iron games can people consistently manage 40 deaths to justify it as the threshold.
  • if you tell a troll the threshold of punishment, they'll just avoid it. intentional feeding isnt black and white, actual trolls play it smart. its the entire reason the term "soft inting" exists.

You know what "int" is short for? Intentional.

Number of deaths doesn't matter. Someone can die twice on purpose and be inting. Someone can die 15 times while having a bad game and not be inting.

OP probably thinks the old "unskilled player" report button was actually connected to some code.

If you're dying 20+ times in a 30min game and low gold , vision . something is wrong and weird. i mean yes we all have "bad games" but 20+ deaths is not a bad game its something more. [slayer-jinx-catface]

There should be a limit, in some way, but you need to think bigger.

The maximum amount of times you can die in 20 minutes (this is full Leeroy Jenkins, running it down) is pretty much the bar for what people can consider to be inting. Mind you, this is not taking into account taking teleport/ghost, and also not taking into account enemies killing you faster than you can die to the NPC units, so it's still more than possible to go over this number. In the case where it's obvious that someone has literally ran it down the entirety of this 20 minute game (also voting no on your surrender vote to hold the game hostage, of course) they're of course going to be hit pretty hard by the system in place.

As far as inting that doesn't equivalate to that number...prove intent.
