Doing my best to reform after my 14 day ban, is this all I can do?

It's been a day since I got 14 day ban. Although to some extent I don't agree with it, it's reality. Here is what I have come up with to keep me from getting permanent banned:

-For the first month, i'm unbinding enter key, just so I don't slip up and get perma. I'm also muting all, so I don't get tempted to say anything. -After that, I'm going to start typing again, but only positive things, such as "Good job!" or "Let's get baron." I'm also only going to mute toxic people, rather than /muteall at the start. -I'm getting a new router so I don't DC from anymore games. -I never int so that shouldn't be a problem. I care too much about this game just to int.

I want to take reforming seriously, and do NOT want a permabanned account. My question is, is there more I can do to improve my account standing? Also, if i get falsely reported, will I get banned if I say nothing in chat at all?

I guess the thought of getting permanent banned is scary, so i'm trying to do my best to make sure that doesn't happen.

(this is my third post in a day or so, i'm just trying to be clear on what I need to do to reform.)

This is pretty much the best stuff you can do. I'll add to it that if you make it a goal to be ACTIVELY positive and encouraging, even when things seem down, you'll end up finding out that a lot of League's quieter players are actually pretty good people. Build up your team, don't tear them down. :)

A couple of things.

  1. After a 14 day ban, any little thing you type on chat can escalate to a perma. So next time you want to call your team mate a retard, trash, or anything like that, think about it carefully.

  2. Leave buster has nothing to do with bans. You get 20 minutes Ques if you get punished.

  3. Even if you inted you would have to do it a lot for the system to catch on and get you, 90% of inting scum get away with it.

Your main problem is going to be the chat. As any word that is offensive is going to hurt you a lot. If you already got a 14 day ban due to the chat, I would recommend you turn it off every game. Better safe than sorry.

The best thing you can do is to make sure that you never play better than your allies. If you outplay people on your team, they will become insanely jealous and they will do everything in their power to bait you into speaking. Then it won't matter what you say, even if you just answer a yes/no question in chat, they will report you for being "toxic". Just let your teammates carry you. Never do your best to win the game. Toxic behavior is really just another way of saying someone on your team doesn't like you.

Also, if you form a premade group, you essentially become immune to reports since you now have a friend supporting you.

Those are all good steps, but try attacking the source of your anger rather than the reactions. You can fix all of your subcategories by simply learning to enjoy yourself in spite of the outcome. You certainly wouldn't win more games screaming at people in a game. Whether it be something in your life causing stress or too many games at once causing stress, usually stress causes anger issues. Instead of thinking you need to reform to the system's standards and lie about who you are, really examine how you can still be you, but in a more constructive way. I'm sure you can be a nice guy and mean it. Hardly anyone is actually evil.

Yep, that should do it.

Also, if i get falsely reported, will I get banned if I say nothing in chat at all?

Nope

I've been in your shoes, trust me as long as you don't do anything out of line you'll be fine.

I think there is a "refusing to cummunicate" report cathegory, but if you use pings (without spamming) you dont have to worry about it.
