Honor farming Aram
Why do I get the feeling that ARAM is not just the place to farm level, but also to farm honor level?
In my experience honors from aram count as much as those from the rift, but games take far less time so you can accumulate more honors in shorter time leading to quicker checkpoint advancement. Plus unlike 3 vs 3 there are 4 players that can honor you. Plus as arams are shorter and thus you do not waste that much time in them, they tend to have lower overall toxicity, so a higher chance of players honoring each other, whereas in rift you get toxic player often, he might not honor everyone and so you dont get the - "everyone on your team honored somebody so you go extra honor".
I am asking as you see, you get keys from honor right? Well I play only rift, and get honors regularly, and I do have plenty of keys to go around. But Im stuck 4 months on H3L0. I have a friend who gets far less keys, but he went to H5 already. He plays a lot of arams. Makes me think that the key distribution for honours has a different logic to actual honour leveling and is more dependent on the amount of honors you got instead of "numbers of honors / time spend in game" which overall honor leveling seems to be based on
