How do you Mute All in Champ Select?

How do you mute all in the champion select screen? Tried right clicking on the icons and names, and I tried typing "/mute all" in the text box but nothing happens.

Also, in-game "/mute all" doesn't mute pings and emotes too. How do you mute absolutely everything?

I created a topic some time ago with a command function rule that blocks all pre and post game chat, and also makes you appear to be offline. You can go through my post history if you want to find it

Blocks all champion select and post game chat. Makes you appear offline to your friends list.

You can't mute in champ select. wrong board. You can literally google every thing you are looking for.

You can use Kei143’s command or you can do this, when you open the tab that shows champs in game, (default button is o) there should be little buttons next to each player that when you hover over them says “mute”, “mute emotes” or “mute pings”. Click those and you can mute each of those things. Generally you should only mute the chat part for a player, I would recommend not muting the pings of a flamer just Incase if they ping something important. But if it is a troll that just spams the question mark ping then definitely mute the troll’s pings.

Turn off visibility of the chat:

Turn on LoL client and login to your account.

Go to the directory where you installed League of Legends, default is C:/Riot Games/League of Legends/Config/

Find PersistedSettings.json and open it with notepad.

All you need to do now is find “name”: “ChatScale” and change it’s value to -100.

You can also find the option "EmotePopupUIDisplayMode" set to "0"
