I got Leaverbuster banned for leaving a few games, but I did not wish to leave the game. I had internet problems combined with some other unfortunate events...

So you decided to play knowing you had internet issues? Sounds like your fault to me.

Your computer and internet connection is your responsibility. No matter what the circumstances are, it is your fault that multiple games were ruined for many people.

The leaverbuster is there and will not be removed as a reminder to fix the issues you were neglecting.

Riot expects all players to maintain a stable connection. They do forgive players who unexpectedly drop connections once or twice, but not players who keep playing spite knowing their connection is unstable.

playing games knowingly having internet problems. serve it out and start testing your connection.

Not a lot can be done outside of playing through the leaverbuster system. Play five of bot matches and work on learning the new runes or trying a 'trolling' meta build - AP Kayn perhaps?! And move on.

I dropped out in 2 games, the third was a blackout and the fourth was a bug splat because the bugsplat.dll was missing... Had to redownload league...

Riot understands that sometimes events are beyond your control, which is why LeaverBuster doesn't inflict punishments worse than time delays before you can queue. However, ultimately, any internet outage or other unfortunate event DOES leave 9 other players in a less-than-ideal game situation.

Yes, it's inconvenient to have to wait, but it's also inconvenient to have to play down a man. They don't overturn legitimate LeaverBuster penalties.
