Riot please consider this greatly.

Riot I've played this game since season 1 and always loved the champions art and style of league. However I cannot help to notice that the tribunal and judgment passed onto players is extremely flawed. In games I have been reported and suspended for arguing in fights that I PERSONALLY never started. And these series of reports eventually made me to the point of what's known as "toxic" to the community which I may or may not be, but considering the fact that generally players in game STILL get upset over very minor things such as dying the first couple of times at the start of the game. proves that leagues community hasn't changed in the toxic environment and these permanent bans are proving useless in dealing with these toxic players, and that maybe it's time for a different course of action, change is necessary to solve and help the community and permanently banning someone over the incidents might not be the BEST ideas to come about, especially for HIGH LEVEL PLAYERS who get there accounts banned. The reasons why is the fact that they enjoy the game on a COMPETITVE LEVEL and when mistakes occur they get upset. Which is freakin human nature to begin with. Cmon riot please take a look at Dunkey or sky Williams videos the fact that even THESE YouTube celebs have even gotten banned is abit ridiculous in the "fair" sense. What I'm suggesting might actually solve a reasonable amount of problems with the tribunal. I suggest that you return all permanently banned accounts with the essence of all there chats being removed permanently so they no longer have the privilege to engage among teammates. But still have the decency to play amongst others on there hard earned accounts. Because is it really fair to make someone's account useless which they might have spent hundreds of dollars for to create that account just because they got alittle upset and yes i know ALL about your warning statements however in games that are ranked, players might feel the "need" to report regardless of the situation all due to the fact that they were stressed out with certain methods of gameplays and it could almost certainly result in you getting permanently banned anyway...which has happened many times before. At the end of the day it's your decision riot obviously but you might wanna consider the fact that the players you permanently ban and suspend, who have raged or are considered "toxic" might be the players who actually invested most of there time into this game when it was first released back in season 1 and were really intrigued and motivated by this game and stripping away there accounts doesn't really solve a lot of problems and it just makes them feel betrayed by you riot. Is it worth losing people's compassion and have them resent this game just to resolve a couple of statements or issues that occur during an actual game ? People aren't robots riot we have feelings too...and by no means am I justifying the players course of actions during game which they create a volatile situation. I'm just saying there's a BETTER way of handling or resolving these matters without permanently suspending accounts...there has to be right riot ?

If someone is toxic first, and you respond with toxicity, you are both being toxic. "He started it" is a child's excuse and doesn't justify retaliation. All you have to do is mute and report them. Arguing back just makes you a problem too.

these permanent bans are proving useless

Actually, the number of permabanned players is small. Most people that get punished reform, and those numbers have improved since the new 4-step Instant Feedback system.

players might feel the "need" to report regardless of the situation

You don't get punished for false reports. The entire system is built around identifying and removing them, so if you haven't done anything wrong their reports don't hurt you.

Permabans are indeed harsh, and this is entirely intentional. You are supposed to realize you don't want that to happen and reform before it reaches that step.

I get mad at customers at work all the time, they are calling technical support, because they don't have the skills to resolve their own issues. If I answered my interactions with "God damnit, I'm just asking you to right click" I'm just a little upset, and that's ok according to your logic because they were being stupid by my level of understanding. Fact of the matter is there's never a reason to treat a customer like that.

All summoners are Riots customers, they don't want people being talked down to as that doesn't encourage repeat business. There's no competitive advantage gained by abusing team mates, in the majority of instances players play worse when flamed. It does not matter who started it, in the end, anyone that interacts negatively is a negative to the community regardless of their own "entitlement to be mad".

Banning players gives them two options: Roll a new account and reform or don't play anymore. Both of those are wins for the majority of the community that elects to play positively.

Riot has let permanently banned players come back in the past, a redemption program. The VAST majority of the players reoffended and were banned again. The system has had great success in removing players that simply cannot treat other people politely. I enjoy knowing that when someone flames me I know I keep quiet, don't rise to the bait, and report them. They will be punished and it's right for them to be punished.

Have you ever heard the saying, "It's not the person that starts the argument that will get in the most trouble, it's the one that retaliates."
