I Want Proof

I want statistics. i want graphs. i want percentages. I want screenshots, i want dev commentaries, i want all chat segments. I want to know that riot gives the slightest shit about the epidemic of verbally and physically toxic players in their game. I dont want to hear what pro players think about new champs or item changes, i dont want to see community creations and links to your esports website. Ive seen it, i dont care anymore. Your game is deteriorating and people are leaving at rapid rates because everyone, LITERALLY EVERYONE, feel no presence by your "tribunal" and "report system".

People complain all the time that this community is one of the most toxic groups in the entire world, yet when they come across someone who calls me a %%%got and "puss boi", who flames every other single person in a ....... v i d e o g a m e ..... everyone else doesn't care to report them because they know it doesn't do anything. It never helps, these toxic people get away every time meanwhile it was too the point where if i had bad internet and got disconnected in 3 games within a week, i was getting a 14 day ban. 14 DAYS and yall didn't care to listen why i dced.

One of your biggest promoters for your game who has probably easily brought over 100 million views to your game, Dunkey, was in a game of 4 trolls, one of them who deliberately fed and ruined his game, you ban Dunkey because of his toxic comments which were and he fully deserved his ban. But after asking you for one favor to help him out to make ANOTHER video for your game, you disregard him and cast him to the side. and not even politely, like y'all played him so dirty and didn't even care. Did that feeder get banned, did he receive any punishment?

You just answered that question in your head didnt you.

Of course he didnt because you, Riot, dont care about your players, you never have. You open the pbe so your players can test your new content and give you feedback and you never listen to any of them, never respond to ideas or changes. Some people opened 1300 of your loot chests for the hextech crafting and created an in-depth discussion about the rates of contents and things that needed to be boosted and changed and gave you the entire ideas of the whole pbe community and none of your employees ever responded to even acknowledge their hard work...............

.............im derailing, sorry.............. This post was irrelevant to make, because none of you will listen. None of you will even see this. None of you will care. You wont give any statistics or graphs because you dont have them, you dont want to show them. Im tired of this toxic conglomerate of people in both Riot and the community who dont care to change things. And you know what they say about relationships.

when the memories of it are better then whats in front of you, its time to end it.

It would be really nice if Riot posted updated statistics of reports/punishments they receive and hand out weekly, because no player in their right mind is buying that it's only 2% (or whatever the exact number) of the entire player base is the problem.

Queue up 10 ranked games solo and you'll run into champion select trolls, griefers, rage quitters, toxic rage babies and AFK's in a minimum of 50% of your games.

That being said, don't ever use that tool Dunkey to drive home any point you wish to make here or on any Riot board and expect to be taken seriously.

I'm sorry it seems like you have had a bad week/day/ whatever length of time in League. I try my best to stay positive and report those who cross the line. I think this line is different for people though. I tolerate people saying I'm bad or swearing at me because that will happen and it is so easy to ignore or mute someone. I saw a good quote from another poster: "I use the mute button to protect myself from a player and the report button to protect other people from a player". When someone uses hate speech or spams excessively I will report them. The anonymity of league, however, means that people will curse and be dicks for a variety of reasons. I'm sorry if you have had a bad experience. If it is really getting to you I would just try to not look at the chat that much and focus on gameplay. If it is still bothering you, maybe some meditation techniques could come in handy. I know this may not be what you want to hear, but the greatest power you have against those who wish to agitate you is the power to ignore them. Stay positive my friend and keep on trucking.

I keep seeing people say that this game is losing players rapidly. Is there any evidence for this, or are people just using scare tactics in an attempt to get Rioters to respond to typically less than constructive posts?

It is not in Riot's business model to ban people. The only reason they ban anyone is because they would get a potential "net loss" if they didn't. Meaning people quitting because of cheaters or people who are so toxic they cause others to leave.

The truth is Riot is a for profit company and while 95% of the company might live, breath, and believe in this game. It is the 4 or so people at the top who decide what really happens and Riot has decided years ago that they don't want to exclude anyone they do not absolutely have to from a complete business for profit perspective. That is the sad truth.

The other hard fact is Riot has completely sold out to Tencent. So any chance there ever was of Riot doing the right thing overall even at the expense of revenue, they almost certainly never will now.

Okay, cool, bye. You should've just put a "tl;dr - i got a 14 day ban from leaverbuster" or something like that.

My account was recently permabanned following a 14 game suspension. Prior to that I did not receive any 25 game chat ban just a 10 game one. Upon returning I played for about 5 days, my behavior has improved. I was banned for simply saying "nasus gay" and "darius you're a %%%got." I have been playing this game for 6 seasons and never in my experience has this new system or any reporting system in game been so harsh and strict all of a sudden. You have players that will literally report you for something that doesn't even bother them simply because they know you will get banned or punished. It is a league of cry bullies.

I could understand if I was banned for saying things along the lines like "I hope you get cancer and die" or worse but honestly? You're going to permaban someone for saying gay? Might as well just not even play at all if you can't be frustrated in game without any sort of punishment. Dunkey nailed it on the head in his video. The source of toxicity is the game itself. I asked them to give me evidence of my games and I only received chat logs from that one game. In my opinion that is pretty upsetting and lack of a just and helpful customer support for long time loyal players.

What makes you think Riot answers to you?

Furthermore, we are playing the era of LoL with the overwhelmingly lowest levels of toxicity ever. You are just a complete [Insert forbidden word here] . You are the type that wishes "Safe Spaces" and "Hugboxes", a hardcore feminist/leftist that hates reality.

You are the counter-part to the perma-banned players that argue "THERE SHOULD BE NO RULES". You are the guy that argues "THE RULES SHOULD BE EVEN MORE DRACONIAN". Two sides of the same coin.

Intelligent men know that neither extreme is reasonable. Intelligent men know that a fair middle ground must be achieved; Not ultra-hyper-leftist-feminist draconian 1984 style nonsense... but also not complete and total anarchy.... at this stage; The Rules and their implementation is as leftist/feminist/authoritarian as they've ever been... I myself lean more towards Libertarianism but I still consider Riot's stance to be reasonable.

Riot has made the best choices for the game and it reflects in their massive success. You are unreasonable. You are toxic in the other extreme. Your argument is nonsense.
