Thoughts on an unfair system

feeding

I just wanted to share my frustration towards the punishment system when there is no clear understanding of how it works.

Yesterday I played xerath against a player who didn't like that we dominated him in lane and started feeding and walking into our base to finish with a 1/16 score. He also started all chatting on his own and throwing racial insults. We all reported him and absolutely nothing happened, he is still enjoying games today.

Now before season ended I went 0/14 as taliyah jungle in a normal game and was pretty tilted from being hard stomped in my jungle by every enemy laner and jungler from the very first invade. I couldn't even do my buff anymore and got executed after that I kind of disconnected my brain from the whole thing and just kept getting executed by my jungle camps. I probably died 3 or 4 times to enemies in total. Now after this game I immediately got a 14 day suspension for intentional feeding. Very well I didn't get end season rewards or anything but tough luck I guess but imagine falling a couple of weeks after on a guy doing the same thing and getting away freely.

How is the system fair when you see stuff like that? What was the difference in our feeding except I died to jungle camps and him to my allies and myself? What goes into such system decision to choose who gets banned and who doesn't?

Effectiveness of Inting reports aside, did you report for hatespeech? Racist remarks are a quick way to a 14 day ban.

Disclaimer: This is purely speculative.

What did you type into your report?

I feel like Riot simply doesn't have enough time to thoroughly investigate. Thus, reports with helpful context like time stamps, are more likely to be taken seriously by Riot.

Another theory is the back log is actually months behind.
