I Was Permabanned But i dont think its justified.

i was playing today and came across a jax who was being toxic whilst losing lane and being generally a horrible person so i snapped and fell into the chat and this was what transpired :

Granted i was toxic but no where near PERMABAN level at-least to me especially been as i was coming off of my first ever ban (which was justified i apologised) and had just got back to being able to earn honour and have had no issues with other people in game ive stayed out of chat mostly im sure theres a passive agressive comment or joke ive made recently that may have been taken wrong but A PERMABAN for this?

You can arrive at a perma-ban through escalation. Meaning, all you needed after your last penalty was enough to warrant any sort of penalty (even a chat restriction) to arrive at a perma ban.

You just got off a 14-ban days ago.

The reason Riot doesn't give you both sides of the conversation is for the express purpose of teaching you what YOU did wrong. One of your last messages included you stating that you had muted him, which you should have done the moment he started getting toxic. Instead, you had started snapping back and spouting insults like "Bronzie" and "garbage ass" towards him. While I don't believe you've done anything worthy of a permanent ban from this game alone, you've neglected to state your history with punishments. I do wholly believe that you deserve some form of punishment from your toxicity. You may have just been on that step of the punishment ladder. The best thing I can tell you now is to submit a ticket to Riot asking about your history with negative activity, and if they could repeal the ban, but the chances of them doing so are very VERY slim. You'd be better off taking a break from League, collecting yourself, and trying to reform should you choose to rejoin the community. Best of luck!

The people who think "mean words" are a reason to ban someone from the game are the reason I mute all every single game. I want to play, I don't want to be part of the community. I don't even know why I'm posting this on the forums except some form of masochistic self hate.

The worst that should happen to someone for "abusing" the chat is to be permanently muted. That solves the problem. Anything else is just pandering to weakling whiners who want to see people they don't like punished by the teacher.

If I could just turn off chat entirely I would. All I need are notifications of in game events and pings.

remeber there is jax's side to this convo which you cant see of course but it starts with him screaming at everyone in game about him losing lane and needing help which i as the jungler couldnt do because they were 3 man pushing mid at the time and it just fell into an argument but i could understand a chat ban a 2 week ban would of been abit harsh but i could take it but a permaban from losing my cool once in a normal game riot please.

I can see in the comments that you were recently on a two week ban. Unfortunately, the two week ban is Riots way of saying "this is your last chance." Any slip-up AT ALL after that results in a permaban. Think of it as Riot's form of probation. If you violate, you get tossed in jail.

Sorry bud. I don't think they're gonna lift this one.

I understand your frustration, because it seems you're upset with the fact that this instance should not warrant a permaban.

If it was the first time this had ever happened, then no, I don't think it would. However the problem comes into play with your previous (recent) offenses. We all have bad days, but even after punishment you continued to be toxic to your teammates. Even if your teammates are being rude, it's up to you to be the bigger person.

Perhaps in the future after you've thought about your actions you can appeal to them. I believe rather than making a case for yourself you should think about why what you've did is wrong, and how you can improve yourself for the future. [sg-ahri-2]
