The people that say their reports count because they'll mass report you are lying. Punishment is not based on number of reports you get, but your behavior in the games you're report in. If you don't say anything then Verbal Abuse reports can't do anything. Don't give their reports any validity and you'll be fine.

Group reports DON'T have any increased power when compared to a single report. As long as you are at minimum neutral (focusing on chatting about objectives like when to get them for example) then you will not risk getting punished. Whatever you did before that caused the punishments: Don't do them at all. Should help a lot.

Try to stay positive. If you have something negative you want to say: Think if you would want someone chatting like that to you. If you find that you wouldn't want someone saying that to you DON'T press enter, just press Esc instead and rethink what you want to say so it can HELP instead of hinder team.

start a new account now before the perma strikes. don't play your main acct 'till next season, hopefully you've become less 'toxic' by then. it's the only way to be 100% sure.

Also, if you want to play on your main account and you don't trust yourself then consider muting the entire team or removing (shrinking) the chat box. I believe there are a few youtube videos out there on how to legitimately do that.
