"How much was your boost?"

So I started playing Ahri a few weeks ago and climbed a decent amount. That being said, I still have matchups with champions that I've never played against so when I face them in ranked, I do pretty bad. Practicing in normals isn't really helpful because most of the players aren't tryhards and the champion matchups are very limited. Every time I play against a champion I have no experience against, I end up doing bad. Is it a punishable offense to say statements like "How much was your boost?" because I've been getting that every time I do bad and It's getting pretty pathetic.

Also, Riot matchmaking is pairing me against plat 1s most of the time. I find that really stupid and it really makes it difficult for me to play since my teammates most of the time flame me for doing bad against a higher ranked player.

Which is worse behavior, trying a new champ and punishing your team in ranked, or them calling you out for it?

Normals exist for a reason. Stop punishing your teammates for your lack of practice.

I would assume that it's considered negative behavior since it's really condescending and passive-aggressive. If you're not sure and want a more concrete answer, you could try filing a support ticket and asking the staff directly.

Good luck on future games and keep your head up :b

what are the matchups you have the most issues with? Just asking.

I'm starting to think Riot is taking cues from that patent Activision filed a few years ago for a matchmaking system that intentionally pits players of dramatically different skill against each other to encourage the lesser skilled player to spend money on MTX.

They're plats, not academy players. Just stick to the fundamentals and you should beat them every time.
