Revising the ban system

Permabans seem extremely harsh and there should be a system that lets players who have permabanned accounts a way to earn their accounts back through showing good behavior on new accounts and what not. There are many permabanned accounts that have expensive skins and a lot of money put on them. Maybe make a way to transfer skins to different accounts. Thoughts?

Why should Riot care about players who don't care about their game or rules? Besides, the amount of players who do get banned is under 1% of the player base. The 1% is irrelevant and doesn't exist.

The only thing that Riot cares about is the other 99% of the players who do follow the rules and enjoys themselves.

The 1% cease to exist. They have gotten enough chances before their ban. Their only two options are to leave or make a new account and follow the rules.

Period.

no

as other have stated Riot tried previously to allow banned players to make appeals and get their old accounts back

those attempts failed because those players slid right back into doing what they did before

if you get permbanned; that's it. you are free to either quit the game, or make a new account and do better

riot rarely overturns permbans (usually only if it was made in error) but otherwise a permban is just that

if you don't like it

points to the door

no one is stopping you

But they have already tried that. Twice! And both times have shown that people don't change in this context. You have to remember this is suppose to be a punishment. The only way to punish people in this game is to revoke access to the account. If you cannot follow the rules that you said you were going to follow when you made your account why should you be allowed to play on said account?

The only way to get punish is if you break the rules and even when you do you get numerous chances to change unless you break rules like cheating/hacking or using racial slurs. Aside from that you have chances to change. But for those people they don't care and keep abusing the rules to the point of losing access to the account. So if they cannot be bothered to follow the rules countless times why should they have the option to get that account back or transfers content from one account to another?
