All chat sabotage

Just curious if it is a reportable offense for a player to use all chat to alert the enemy team of incoming ganks? As an example. i just finished a match where our top laner was using all chat to announce when our jungle was coming to gank any lanes. "Hey Teemo watch out!" is one of the sentences he used. I did report the player afterwards(he was also trolling by caps lock raging on our team and didnt participate in a single team fight. instead he would run behind us and try to b) but I didnt see an appropriate selection for the reporting reason.

any feedback?

There use to be a "Assisting enemy team" option that would fit well with your situation. Since he was raging on your team it would be a safe decision to report for negative attitude which is the easiest of the report options to prove.

If it were me, I would likely throw in intentionally feeding as a report option if just to attempt to push them closer to a manual review.

Mhm. It's absolutely a reportable/punishable offense to use chat for sabotage - personally, I'd file it under "Intentional Feeding + Negative Attitude" (since it falls into negative attitude as griefing, and intentional feeding encompasses assisting the enemy team).

Just make sure when you do to write a description detailing the player alerting opponents to incoming ganks - along with any other indicators of trolling or griefing.

Awhile ago, I played vs. someone who didn't use chat to sabatoge his team, but he did play in a way that directly lead to his teammates dying and/or our team taking objectives. I reported him as intentionally feeding because his actions led to my team getting fed, even though he made sure to avoid dying himself. I wrote a nice long comment about what I saw for the manual review.

BTW: His behavior was even worse when I downloaded the game and could see what he was doing to his team when we didn't have vision on him.

Yes, it's assisting enemy team.

Not much you can do about that. The automated system could never detect and punish that sort of thing.

Along the same lines - is it cool to use the same principle, but to help your team?

Anivia /all: Hey Teemo! teemo stops moving, probably starts typing Teemo /all: What? R+Q+W+E An enemy has been slain
