The rules aren't harsh enough!

Imagine you're in a game with a guy who buys 5 tears and mobi boots and runs it down mid. It's a ranked game and he just wants to make 4 other people miserable.

One of those 4 people then tells this guy to fuck off.

STOP. CALL THE POLICE. SOMEBODY IN THIS GAME JUST EXPERIENCED AN EMOTION.

Hopefully that guy will receive a permaban. It's not enough that we give him a chat restriction and lower his honor for a single offense instigated by an intentional troll trying to destroy his hard work. We must also destroy his account entirely so that he knows he may never, ever experience an emotion in this game again.

MAKE THE RULES HARSHER.

ALL NEGATIVE EMOTIONS MUST BE BANNED ON LEAGUE OF LEGENDS.

IF SOMEONE RUNS IT DOWN MID WITH 5 TEARS AND MOBI BOOTS YOU MUST HONOR HIM AFTER THE GAME AND THANK HIM FOR YOUR LP LOSS. OTHERWISE 14 DAY BAN ON FIRST OFFENSE. YOUR FAMILY GOES TO THE GULAGS ON THE SECOND OFFENSE.

All I know is that the player base right now is at all time high. Things couldn't be better for League of Legends. Twitch streamers aren't quitting. Everyone is pleased with this season. WE CAN AFFORD TO ALIENATE PLAYERS WHO EXPERIENCE EMOTIONS IN THIS GAME.

The amount of sarcasm on this thread can probably fill a whole dump site.

We all experience "emotion" on a daily basis. We all meet assholes every day. Some guy cuts you off in traffic. Someone flips you off just because you looked at him. Someone jumps the line in front of you at a local Starbucks. Your co-worker dumps all the work on you when you two are supposed to be working together. etc.

We have all meet assholes at some point in our of lives (sometimes every single day of our lives, e.g. long commute to and from work). We all experience hgih emotions in these situations.

You know what? We all learn to control our emotion in real life because if you blow up each and every time we meet an asshole, we would all be in jail (real life jail). Even if you blow up even just one time in traffic when some guy cut you off, you literally risk your life and those around you.

Why should there be different expectation in League? You are expected to curb your "emotions" and channel it elsewhere that doesn't affect other people. Or if you cannot hold your "emotion" and punch that guy who flipped you off, crash into that guy who cut you off in traffic, yell at your co-worker, have a screaming match with the guy who jump the line at Starbucks, there will be consequences even if you did not start those situation because none of those are "defending yourself". Why should League be any different?

Some guy run it down mid in your game? He is just another asshole in a very, very, very long line of assholes you will meet in your lifetime. What can you do? Privately think "fuck you asshole" and move on with your life without doing anything about it. Channel your anger into a safer place that doesn't get you punched in the face, fire some work, die in traffic, perma-banned from League.
