Thoughts About The Playerbase

Welcome to life, where in any group of people (not just a video game), there are those who are incapable of being productive members of the group.

Don't you have a few assholes in your family? In your friend group? At work?

Focus on the good people instead of the shitheads.

I disagree. Sure this is a free to play game but its also... wait for it... a free to play game. People Should act as they want and if you have a problem be the bigger person and mute them. There are boundaries for toxicities including: racial slurs, death threats, etc. Anything over the top like that is ban worthy but in terms if someone just tells you, "hey fuckface, can you gank my lane, you've been farming for 15 minutes" I feel like, sure he could have said it nicer but he doesn't deserve a ban. This community is too quick to judge or report someone. An integral part of competitive games is competitive people, and I can at least speak for myself from other outdoor competitive sports, that there is a level of aggression that should be allowed and to some degree is actually healthy.

League of Legends literally has the most mature, brightest, compassionate, and empathetic community to ever exist (online or otherwise). We are the blueprint for better future for our children.

Thats basically the state of American culture right now. Fuck a playerbase. I wish society in general wasnt that way. I mean have you seen the partisan hysteria? Left leaning people are always snowflakes and sjws, right leaning people are always nazis and racists? Do you expect a video game's playerbase to be any different?

I wish more people would say illogical things and were more willing to say risky things.
