My Honest Opinion on What's Destroying the Game.

I have two major problem with the league community and I think that Ruot needs to step up to the plate and deal with them. Riot needs to either implement rewards for not acting the following ways or a way to punish players that act the following ways.

  1. Player mentality is at an all time low and when a player sees one tiny thing go wrong they instantly give up. Some games are a grind and super hard and tedious to win especially with early game deficits, but most games are not decided in the first 10, 20, 25 minutes. If you think it is over than it is because you gave up not because it was not possible to recover.

  2. Players not understanding that if they are behind they should sit back farm safe and just let themselves get carried. So many games I have lost because someone can't just farm safely after losing early trades. Honestly 50% of my loses are because of this.

I agree alot of players don't know how to play from behind.

Step 1 is mental fortitude. Giving up early leads to more mistakes being made, further snowballing the enemy.

Step 2 is avoiding chasing and forcing duels

Step 3 is slowing the game down to allow the losing side to catch up in gold.

Step 4 is strength in numbers. Always group for objectives, don't get caught farming when an objective is up

Step 5 is to ward around your shrinking portion of the map. Wards save lives, even when placed near the base blind spots

Doing the above won't always win you the game, but it will improve your odds. You can't force your team to comply, but you can at least make sure you are doing the right thing. That's 1/5 of the team that should always be on point.

"most games are not decided in the first 10, 20, 25 minutes"

But they are though.

I feel like Riot is trying to solve problem 1. This is a snowball heavy game, it's built into the play style and comeback potential decreases the more the enemy pulls ahead. Riot has been constantly changing how shutdown gold works trying to pin down a good method for teams to feel like they have a chance even when behind.

Number 2 is a problem in any game where the best option is to stand back and let your teammates try to offset your mistakes. Nobody wants to feel like they are the lead anchor of the team so there's a lot of motivation to make additional risks in order to pull yourself out of the deficit.

No, please, tell us your dishonest opinion. That's much more interesting.

EVERYONE keeps saying people are giving up instantly but i really dont see it. sure theres some ppl who say "oh wow enemy got first blood ff at 15 its lost" but the amount of surrender votes that actually pass is, IN MY OPINION, at an all time low.

I have played League of legends for a realy long time now and I think that riot games is starting to give up on the game like csgo. My favorite games end up dying because the creaters are so stuck up in there little world that they dont even care about the game that gives them food, a home, a life. In LOL I have been seeing alot of glitches and mistakes that drive me ensane. I switched to other servers and I still saw them there. In the normal 5v5 arena in LOL there has been so many streamers and youtubers raging over glitches and mistakes in the system, this is prob happening because the people making the game dont even care about the game and that they are spending all there money and effort of TFT. They care more about the noobs and bringing for people into the game then actually the dam game. If riot you are reading this, I am not trying to hate on my favorite game but I am trying to say that if you put more effort and dedication into the game then alot more people would play it. A mobile game I have been playing lately called Arena of valor has been great, and I saw all the time and dedication that went into it. When you log in there are many colors and offers and new skins being released every day. Where in LOL there is a skin every so weeks. Just please put more effort into fixing the game then the players playing the game will stay for a long time rather then adding new events like TFT and not giving a damm about the main game. A 5v5 moba, please keep it that way.

You can't really farm in a lane where you can't trade anymore. If you're behind and you even try to get near the minions, you get blown up

problem one is punished if they show intent of giving up

problem 2 is more of bad player judgement which is not punished and should not be punished by any means.

riot cant punish or fix such humans related stuff all what they can do is set ruled and punish who break them

Forgive me but you don't seem to play League very often.

  • Riot makes a change, a bad change. People cry about it for months. Riot refuses to revert it. Instead they nerf something that wasn't a problem in the first place. For example Klepto+spellthief bullshit. The easiest and the most logical change to this would be to REMOVE FARM BOUNTIES.

  • Riot forces a meta where junglers MUST permagank. And once again they refuse to address the actual problem so they reduce jungle xp which forces junglers to camp lanes even harder.

  • Position ranks: Another bad change. Matchmaking is horrible. Autofilled players troll their games. LP gains and losses are horrible. Role swapping is punishable. What does Riot do? They said if things don't work out, they revert the whole thing.

They didn't. And they won't. I don't want that system to EUW. Matchmaking is already horrible here.

  • Trolls rule SoloQ and no one cares.
