How to gain honour when no one honours and just leave game?

I have played this a game for a long time, and by no means is this an excuse. I recently got a chat restriction for 10 games. My fault. My honor is currently locked. I was wondering how is it even possible to unlock when people don't honour? After a game everyone just leaves the game or ignore the honour system. At the same time, to my understanding, you only gain honor if you are either honoured, or if everyone votes?

So if you don't get honoured and at least 1 teammate leaves... How on earth do you gain honour?

All I want to do is climb back to honor level 2 for ranked rewards, I go set from lvl 3 to lvl 1 and now it's locked and I still need to prove myself.

You get very little progress from getting honored. The majority comes from just playing games without receiving valid reports.

You coming back from this chat restriction is dependent on what you do, not what anyone else does.

Your goal is not to be honored by 4 people every game, your goal is to not receive any valid reports for bad behavior, which will slow your progress.

Unlocking your honor will take a week or two. Getting back to honor two will take a few months. A chat restriction is a punishment, and the punishment isn't supposed to feel good or be over with quickly.

Make people want to honor you.

The majority of the time I get honors is from having fun with people and talking to them more than just "coming mid" or "go baron"

It's gonna take 1-3 days to unlock honor. Then about a month to get back to level 2. You'll be fine. Just do not flame anymore.. I'm serious, DO NOT flame

You actually gain honor by playing games while not breaking any rules. You really dont have to be honored at all to gain honor. Just dont have any valid reports against you, and keep playing games.
