The inting punishment system is an infinite feedback loop.

  1. Player dies a lot and is reported for inting, whether they actually inted or were just playing like crap.
  2. Inting reports fill up the support team's workload.
  3. It takes a long time to sort out the actual inters from the people having bad games.
  4. Players feel like nothing is being done about inting, so they become more frustrated and more likely to report inters.
  5. MORE inting reports fill up the support team's workload.
  6. It takes EVEN LONGER to sort out the actual inters from the people having bad games.
  7. Players feel EVEN MORE frustrated and report EVEN MORE.
  8. EVEN MORE INTING REPORTS FILL UP THE SUPPORT TEAM'S WORKLOAD!
  9. IT TAKES HOLY CRAP WE CAN'T DEAL WITH ALL THESE REPORTS AHH SEND HELP!
  10. WTF RIOT DO SOMETHING ABOUT ALL THESE INTERS!

Etc. ad infinitum.

I'm posting this because I was told that there is a really long queue, so even though my reports (all definitely inting, obviously griefing, unquestionably deserving of an instant permaban) have been responded to, and have video evidence included, they might not be dealt with anytime soon because there are so many other reports to deal with.

Sounds to me not so much like the punishment system is an infinite feedback loop, but peoples' attitude towards what they believe to be inting.

I expected some toxic loser making excuses for being toxic because "Riot doesn't do anything" but all I got were facts. I've been bamboozled >:(

It takes awhile to open a 3 min video that they check your support can type back a message to you but cant look over a 3 min vid instead of typing back xD

I've reported tonnes of people for inting when I probably shouldn't have and nothing came about it. Got a real inter in one game, reported, after my next game, instant feedback on the punishment.

I don't think their system is that bad.

What you have described cannot be called an infinite feedback loop. You need causation between each step of a feedback loop. There are several logical flaws in your argument that preclude this from being a feedback loop.

1: This is a scenario that sometimes happens. People report (or don't) for a variety of reasons. 2: There is no evidence that inting reports fill up the support team's workload. They did not say that they had too many inting tickets to deal with, theys aid they had other tickets to deal with, which could involve a variety of issues, even outside of player behavior. 3: Mostly true. Long is subjective, and you don't know how much time it takes for each different kind of report. 4: Not true. You may be conflating other players' feelings and your own. You don't know how all other players feel. Some people get reassured whent hey interact with the support team. Some people just think that the system is fine and dandy. Some people comment that they don't report because they feel frustrated that the system does not punish inters effectively. Frustration leading to more reporting is not true. 5: See 2. 6: See 3. 7: See 4.

and so on.
