Can someone explain how i got a 3 day boards ban without even a warning?

So i made a post with the title "certainlyt is like that 7 year old" criticizing on probably how he views League of Legends, and how he doesn't consider the frustration of players and saying that he probably doesn't fit to work for riot games without being watched.

If the ban was done by a rioter, i should get a notification, i know that because it happened when i made a bad lee sin joke. But i didn't get anything. I refreshed the page on my laptop, checked my phone, checked again but with VPN, and even my friends' phone/laptop.

All i saw was something like "sorry old sport" with some poetic world of warcraft cryptic message. Somebody likes WoW while watching The Great Gatsby.

If this was by moderator then 2 questions: 1- shouldn't i get a notification too? 2- what's the rule did i break exactly? No way a critic counts as a "don't be a jerk" which is kind of funny since not taking players' frustration into consideration is kind of a "jerk" thing to do by a designer. Hypocrisy at its finest. I think.

I need a red reply on this. I didn't go "CT should be fired!" or "CT should die!" or "i hope CT gets cancer!" and other things similar to this non-sense. Because this is unacceptable, so i'm all ears on this. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

We're having a bit of a bug with the notification system. If you'd like, I can share your entire removal message here, or you can come to the moderation Discord to receive it.

Your post included mocking him by talking about him throwing a tantram, having "childlike rage," holding a grudge from trauma against "that kid who killed his imaginary pet dragon," whining to his mother, and saying that he isn't fit to work at the company. That's completely unacceptable whether it's targeted a Rioter or just another community member.

It's not possible to get a mod action against you here without an accompanying notification, so make sure you're looking on the correct region (EU and NA boards are separate, for example), and you should post over on Discuss the Boards rather than this subboard. You can also speak more directly with the mods on the Moderation Discord here.

I got a 7 day ban for a joke. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Boards are pretty nazi sometimes, just sit it out and hope you don't catch the mods on a bad day again. To be fair I had multiple removals on that day, they prolly just had enough of my BS.
