A way to stop spam pinging?

So i have an actual headache after getting done with a game, where my top laner didn't get camped and continued to spam pings the ENTIRE game. It was like the ping cool down didn't affect him he just kept going and going. Can we please do something about this? Maybe each time you spam to many the cool down increases in duration? Or be able to mute a specific players pings? I'll be adding a clip to this later of just how bad it was.

I believe /ignore (PlayerName) or /ignore @(ChampionName) mutes pings from specific people. Example: /ignore Teapup or /ignore @Sona

Easy, just turn off ping volume there is a setting and then mute the player to stop them from talking wack. The pings shouldnt affect your game, afterwards report them for Verbal Harassment, it can count as ping harassment too as well i think.

I look at it as the lesser of two evils. Sure, they're ping spamming, but that takes less keyboard time than typing out a novel as they rage in all-chat.

If it was really that bad, I'd just report them after the game and move on.

I'm pretty chill though. If I die a weird death and someone does the question-mark ping above me once or twice, I usually just offer an explanation. "Got got out, sorry mates." etc.

If they keep doing it I just ignore them. My brain is more powerful than their pinging pinky finger. YMMV
