Riot Employee sending me in circles
(As I forgot to put in the original post, I do believe I should have gotten a couple days banned for my actions, but a 14-day and a threat of permaban for a first offense is excessive)
I got a 14-day suspension and threatened to be permabanned if it ever happened again for my FIRST offense ever in 5 years because I was flamed in champ select, played a champ I didn't know in the jungle, had blue and red stolen at lvl 1, and made a poor decision to run it down 4 times in the toxic teammates lane. I then decided I should stop and that wasn't the way to handle it and tried to help get kills, in which by this point, my bot lane was already 0-6 and my top lane toxic teammate then decided he was going to int. So I by this point, my entire jungle was warded and everyone on the enemy team could one shot me literally...I was playing Eve against a talon who pushed q w and I was dead. So for this FIRST offense, where I tried correcting myself mid game, I get a 14 day ban and threatened to be permabanned. While the toxic troll Miss Fortune top could die 16 times inting and get away perfectly fine. The only good thing that came from this is the employee I talked to, though I think I scared him, did apologize and say he'll look into the other players NOW.
But when I brought up that a first offense should be a one or two day suspension that doubles/triples with each ban within a time frame, and not an instant 14 day with a threat of permaban, he pointed me to this board and said I could voice my concerns here, and that this would be the place to go for that. Making it seem like the employee was genuinely trying to send me to the right people, I followed the link. When I get here I see that there's a post pinned that specifically says they will not over rule bans and its not a place to change how the punishment system works...In other words, riot tells us all 'screw you, rant all you want here, we don't want to deal with you' and the employees, knowingly send you in a circle and intentionally send you here so they wont have to deal with you anymore.
Now, a little backstory about myself to explain just how badly riot has slapped me in the face with this.
When I first started league in 2012, my roommate told me to download the game, pick ashe, and play the tutorial until I figured the game out, then we could play together. After 3 days, I was still so lost that I quit and didn't pick the game up for another year. In which I then self taught myself through play and youtube videos. I have now been playing for 5 years and have never had a warning, a ban, or a chat restriction. I even have made accounts on 3 servers and multiple accounts on NA that I start new so i can help teach new players how to play the game so they aren't on their own trying to figure it out with people constantly yelling at them. I watch every professional league, i buy merchandise and have an addiction to buying new skins on here, and I try to help teach new players the game. And all I ever get in return on my main account is told to kill myself on a weekly if not daily basis by teammates, people who admit to feeding in champ select then ruin my games, and nothing but flamers, which i admit, on my main account has started to turn me into a flamer (in which i just mute all chat now to help myself) and riot rarely ever does anything about it. But i choose to make a poor choice for 5 minutes in a 20 minute game and i instantly get a 14 day and a threat of permaban. Then I get sent around in circles because no one wants to actually listen to me.
I have lost all faith in riot and now know they don't care about anyone and all they ever want to do is make money. You can see it in the case they had a year or two ago where they almost lost all of their NA and EU pro teams because of them trying to control sponsorship and relegations. And then you look at how the justice system works, and this right here just shows they don't actually care about the players or the community. I'm not saying I don't deserve to be punished for the game in question. But 14 and a threat is excessive for a first offense on someone who actually gets honored often, qualifies for every free gift for honor, and has never been punished before in 5 years.
