Friendly reminder: just because you are toxic and didn't get a chat restriction

It doesn't mean that people who did are the worst people since Hitler. A lot of the times you just may not have been reported enough for what you said, and they may have. It's like people who habitually speed looking down on people who get a ticket for it. Hell, sometimes the system will just miss people (it took a person I knew irl a few weeks to get banned and he was using modified versions of racial slurs).

Idk I've just seen a lot of people recently being condescending and toxic towards people who have gotten chat restrictions recently both on the boards and on the subreddit.

Ironically the people this thread is addressing are doing the exact same thing they're criticizing others for.

People need to remember what this board is for. It's not for you to gloat about your lack of punishment, it's not for you to pass moral judgment on others and it's not for you to demean people that have been punished.

It's to help people understand how the system works, help them understand why they were punished, and help them understand how to change their behavior so it doesn't happen again. It's to help reform people, and the behavior I see from most people on this board is about as useful to that end as telling someone "you suck" is to improving their gameplay.

What if I'm not toxic then? You only talk about toxic ones. That's discrimination. Reported.
