Got chat restricted for no reason

To start and sum up, I been playing league of legends since 2012 and I never get this upset with the reporting system in which it punishes players who may had done nothing wrong.

So, I just had a rough game as the adc. My support Maokai blames everyone for not helping him to invade when no body was following him and he got caught and gave first blood. That's fine everyone made mistakes, and I just said you shouldn't go invade because no one could help you in time. Then he started to int, try to take all the farm as a support, which is also okay with me because no one said adc needs to get all the farm. I savage what i could which is about half of the farm. Again this is okay, but what is not okay is when i get caught at 100% hp by leona (my fault yes i know) in which leona and lucian are at around 60%. Maokai (also around 80-100%hp) who happens to stand besides me just press b as an insult and walk back letting me die when we would of won the fight. At this point I am tilted because not only that he is taking farm but he is not contributing to a fight, so I told him he is reported. Then he started chatting with the other team into reported me for being toxic to him. Which I assumed had because I got a chat restriction for 10 games and lost my honor 5. I understand the punishment system is probably automatic but I believe it should not be this harsh to people like me who had almost never been reported in a 5 year period.

Hi, a chat restriction is smallest punishment you can currently get for toxicity.

Even though the system might only have shown you 1-3 games in the reform card, it takes into consideration many games in which it decided a punishment would be too harsh. When you played this game and was mildly toxic, you went over the edge and the system stepped in.

Threathening to report others is a bannable offense, since it doesn't do anything but make the game more negative than it already was.

You might also want to post your chatlogs as this will make pointing out punishable statements and behaviours easier

For future reference you should just keep to yourself when others are annoying you. If they are doing it intentionally you should still keep to yourself but also report them after the game so Riot can see that you do not like their behaviour.
