I didn't receive my end of season rewards

Hello did I not receive my end of season rewards because of my chat restriction on November 9th? I was chat restricted for 10 games which does not make sense why they would take away my end of the season rewards for this. I am in graduate school and had exams so I could not play 10 games before November 11th. How is this fair to take away my rewards when this wasn't even a thing that was announced until last minute? If I would have known I would have just not played the game to avoid harassers and become chat restricted. Thanks.

So many misconceptions by so many people here.

You can get banned or restricted for what you say in a single game. That's for starters. Secondly, he's right that the ranked rewards punishment was a last-minute thing, so-to-speak. Riot still didn't know its official stance or what they were going to do about the automated system bans/restrictions until November from what I recall. It was under internal debate for a long time; I know because I e-mailed them about it.

That post from Lyte that was linked wasn't actually Riot policy at the time. It was proposed policy. Whatever Lyte posts publicly on his twitter doesn't necessarily = truth. The only actual truth is what is on a Riot Games-controlled site like this one.

If you had a chat restriction when the season ended then you are not eligible for rewards. You could have done bot matches to work them off, and this was not announced last minute.

This was announced much earlier than last minute, in fact, it's been a thing since the start of Season 5.
