Hi Riot, I won't be receiving my end of season rewards.

TLDR: I'm butthurt.

This message is ment for anyone at Riot still listening. First a little background I've played this game for 8 years and finally hit diamond this season on this account. I know that isn't the greatest, but I worked for a long long time trying to get that diamond border and icon. I have spent over $2000 on this game. I have over 1.3 Million mastery points with Teemo and lemme tell you, that's alot of Teemo. (anyone looking up this account will see this isn't the case. Rioters should be able to find my main if they care enough.) I started my League of Legends club at my local university, I actively worked trying to grow league of legends, esports, and the overall gaming community. Riot even spent what I assume was thousands of dollars to fly me across the United States to stay several nights at their headquarters in LA for a Collegiate Summit. I still have the T-shirt with my summoner name.

I was chat banned October 24th for 1 game. I'm not saying I was in the right for that game, but it was extremely tame compared to some of the rumors of what happens at Riot games HQ. I invite any Rioter to take a gander at my chat ban, did I really deserve to lose 8 years of hard work because I got in a argument in a normal game?

Since I hit Diamond, I've started a full time job and simply don't have time for video games like I once did. I'll likely never have the time to put into being diamond again. So yes, this new sudden rule is beyond frustrating. As someone who is actively playing League less and less, this was the straw that broke the summoners back.

I have already contacted support and gotten the typical reply. I'm not looking for sympathy or some kind of Riot miracle. I just want maybe one Rioter to read my post and remember it when their trying to figure out where all the players have gone. I've played untold hours of this game, was a big spender and I even tried to grow your game in my community because I loved it so much. If I'm not the type of customer Riot wants to retain, then i have to ask; What type of customer are you looking for Riot?

give it some time, they're going to regret doing what they're doing, taking away rewards for 10 chatbans is ridiculous, and it WILL backfire on them, sucks that we will miss out on rewards this year though

Most of these players do not care about Honor, because honor rewards suck and only here for Ranked Rewards. Riot became aware of that and they want to enforce their policy any way possible. They know players only care about the Ranked Rewards, so they implemented it so that players can be encouraged to lead their team to victory in the most honorable way possible and prevent any sort of toxicity or negativity. Which the community can get behind.

Because Ranked needs that change, Ranked needs to have a more positive playing experience. So with Riot implementing that, that will root out the mild negative/toxic players who are balancing their penalties to keep their account for the ranked rewards and give Ranked Players a more positive experience in ranked.

We're either part of the problem or part of the game. Our only goal is to seek the highest rewards we can achieve and we should earn them with honor.

transfer servers and play 1 ranked game honor resets and it only takes 1 game to get reseeded back to ur ranking

It's not a new sudden rule.

It was announced when the season started in January and blogged multiple times throughout the year.

Your history with riot, money spent on the game, mastery points on teemo or account age don't mean that the rules get to be bent just for you.

You can ask the support nicely for clemency and maybe theyll listen

or you can go for the server transfer option.

At some point you just need to make that decision. What is more important to you in life. Rank in league is competitive and for casual there is normal. Everyone will quit and retire at some point... Maybe your calling is now.
