Dramatic recent improvement. Am I in danger of being banned for boosting?

I was a Bronze V Taric 1 trick 4 days or so ago. 16 ranked games later, (13 of those beine wins) im a bronze 3 Taric 1 trick I'm genuinely concerned riot is going to think I'm boosting. I'm not though . . And if they aren't yet, at what point are they going to think I am?

I've just been taking the game alot more seriously lately and my performance chart shows that. After I started warding more, my win rate shot up. Lol. Funny how that works.

Ty in advance. And ifor any riot employees see this, Taric is your best rework ever I love my Fabio! I miss Shen's old Q tho. But I will let that slide XD

from b5 to 3... totally boosted lol. They will only think that you're getting boosted if you get from bronze 5 into platinum or gold in a month or earlier. That or if you suddenly have other controls than before.

yeah taric is fun w someone that has a dash/gap closer and e when they go in but the ult on the other hand i tend to have to use the enemy's cc just to keep them in it

Nah I think you're good. I went from B5 to G5 in a season and never got banned for boosting. But I did play Taric :3 Taric is bae <3

No, because it's still you playing.

Boosters do things differently, from how they play, to how they ward, to what key they put flash on, to what champions they play, etc. "Winning spree" isn't enough to mark someone as a booster.

But I understand the worry. When I cut over to Xerath for ranked I went on a big winning spree and was worried I'd trip some flags somewhere.

{quoted}I'm genuinely concerned riot is going to think I'm boosting.

I wouldn't be. Their boosting detection is pretty advanced, and -- this is all theoretical, mind you -- I suspect it checks your progress, your access point/IP, the rune pages/builds you use, the keybindings and settings you use, which key you put your Summoner Spells on, and so forth.

So yeah -- if you move to a new state, pick up a new champion, readjust your keybindings, swap Flash from your D to your F key, and suddenly go from Bronze V to Plat V in the space of a week or two? Maybe they'll be suspicious. Bronze V to Bronze III in two weeks is about what I'd expect from someone who is in Bronze or Silver and ended up getting stuck in the bottom of Bronze during placements.

Nope. Riot does not ban for improvements as you have described. Now if someone logged into your account using a computer several hundred miles away, that might be a different story.
