Got perma-banned for defending my friend and giving advice to a guy that fed and didint gank,flamed

Hi! I have been playing LoL for four years, close to fifth, but I guess that wont happen now.Anyways a guy named *removed because of advice given by comments) (i think, didint think much of the name so I dont remember it), I STRONGLY think that he had reported me after he was the one being toxic and saying that he wants to have "pleasure"(aka sex) with my friend and was talking some nasty shizz bizz.So i stepped in said(or meant): "Hey man, calm yourself, he(to protect the innocent) is only 15, and could you gank mid a little bit more?". So then he started flaming me.After all of that AND he was feeding the MOST on our team, before that he never ganked bot, which i wont take it as a grudge as we were winning.So then he started talking about reporting me for saying "i blame lee sin" ( he was playing lee sin ).Which I guess was uncalled for from me but he was still feeding the team, I said that in a joking matter and was serious. Now me and Jim go way back, we are good friend acually.He knows when I am joking,(which is always) and knows when im serious.He is a great friend overall.

Ok so, I was gonna play the new gamemode but then I saw a friend who is fun to play with and I like to play with, we know eachother very well.Anyways in the lobby there was another guy, at first i thought that he was ok kinda toxic but fine,I degress. So I wanted top in blind pick but we had a insta lok kat that went mid after my friend, lets name my friend as Jim. So Jim in blind pick said mid first then his friend, lets call him, Poo (because im upset a lil rn) and Poo went and said jungler first. Then at the near end i was gonna pick my champ then a katarina instaloked and said that she said mid first when she didint (obviosly), so I went support Alistar. In-game me and my adc were popping it off on bot lane, but sadly we got attacked my their mid laner and jungler, 4v2. And the jungler was near, doing krugs, then when I pinged him for help, he refused to come ( when we couldve gotten an easy double, maaaaaybe a triple) if he would have came.Let me get to the end.After me and my adc were doing baron after we got a ace on the enemy team Jim and Poo were going to destroy the mid towers.And etc. etc. we won the game.He reported me for no reason and i presume lied in the "other option" box in the report menu.After that I talked to Jim and so he said that he already, and I quote what Jim said:"He is a retarded idiot from Poland".So there.

Would really like if a riot employee would explain a little bit more about my perm-banning and if theres nothing he/she can do then all of my hard work and grinding for IP/BE will be forever lost. Thank you for your time.

Usually when someone says they are banned for "defending" someone, they are usually banned for counterattacking instead. Defense is "He's not doing that badly. Let's focus on taking that tower instead of fighting amongst ourselves." Counterattacking is "No, he's doing fine. YOU'RE the one who sucks."

If you can provide your chat logs and your punishment history, we can definitely help you figure out what's up.

  1. If you want to defend that you shouldn't have been permabanned, post chatlogs of your ban or what it says when you try to login, because people tend to stretch the truth when putting it in their own words.
  2. I recommend removing the summoner name (or what you think they were), from your post, don't want your thread to be deleted for name and shame. You can give them another codename like your friend if you want.
  3. If you want to talk to a rito employee, use a support ticket, as employees rarely respond to posts here.

The appropriate response to a troll/flamer is to mute them.

Rather than your play-by-play, share the chat logs with us.

There's no such thing as "defending yourself" in chat.

You are not in danger from a random stranger's words and responding back in the same manner doesn't actually protect you from anything.

Well you see, he was toxic alot but I dont know how to post his stuff, but I forgot that some people get easily triggerd when someone makes something sarcastic or a joke. On the chat log there is one part where I said Jims acuall name and gender, but I dont want him to be involved with this.But ill post it anyway just redact some points that envolve their name/gender. When i forgot that is when i said "I blame lee" sarcasticly and so on he thought i was serious.That was my mistake.

If someone is being toxic or rude honestly the best thing to do is just mute them and report at the end of the game. Sadly, defending yourself or someone else can lead to yourself getting punished.

As for getting permabanned, rarely will Riot give you just a permaban without first doing chat bans, and a 14 day ban unless you seriously broke major rules or said something really bad. So if you're really sure you said nothing bad that game, you have had previous warnings about past behavior , whatever that may be.
