Is this Banter or is this considered Toxic behavior that would get me banned in the future?

Just had a recent encounter with a player who responded by calling me the N word. Then when confronted about what he said he went on to explain how I clearly wanted to trigger him. I hear where he's coming from (saying the N word isn't justified nor should it ever be) So right now I'm confused as to whether statements of this nature would be considered toxic or not.

From what I've seen in people's posts, if you don't outright flame your team or spew hate words, how much you say is more important than what you say. I trash talk my lane opponent quite a lot to try to tilt them, I've never gotten a punishment

Probably something that is considered "toxic" to Riot and can lead to a punishment.

something like that is clearly meant to upset the other person, if you continually and frequently say such things you are likely to get a warning in the form of a chat restriction and eventually a ban if you don't stop.

Id refrain from saying such things if you don't want to risk having action taken against your account, also its just mean spirited.

If you press enter twice in a game you're being toxic
