hello, i have been playing league for since s4. i have recently got perma ban by saying 'kys %%%%%%' to the enemy team. i don't understand why i got perma ban as i contacted league's support system with a bot replying to me why i got banned 'this means giving up on games, griefing your fellow players,' this does not apply to the words i have said as i said this to the enemy as silly comment as they took our nexus down. i do not believe 2 words can define my perma ban as it was a silly joke/comment for the enemy team because i was kinda salty :( nerveless i honestly don't think those 2 words can get me permanently banned. i am a long term league of legends players, please riot look into this for me as the support system is kinda crap (soz). ty riot games

Hate speech and encouragement to self-harm are considered zero tolerance behavior: they are not funny, they are not jokes, they are not "silly comments," and they are considered complete unacceptable in every context. They earn a 14-day ban on the first offense and, if you have had previous offenses, they earn a permanent ban.

I'm afraid you're unlikely to get this ban reversed, especially because you do not seem to understand that those words may be more than a "silly joke/comment."

Saying "kys" is 100% Zero-Tolerance and will escalate you to a 14 day or permaban if you got reported for it, they take promoting self-harm or death on others very seriously.

Also I'm guessing that censored word is a homophobic slur or something else, which can also make your case worse.

tbh I'm surprised at the number of permabanned people who believe they have a legit case of actually being unbanned, especially after reading these chat logs, and typically they've been banned before prior to this recent offense, which conveniently goes unmentioned not saying that's the case here but reading this kind of brought about the thought.

What kind of person makes silly jokes when theyre salty? Salty is like, mad, upset, discontent with what happened. You dont tell silly jokes and have a laugh when youre mad. No reason to act like it was friendly man, lying will gain you nothing.

Maybe if you contact Riot Support via Live Chat and explain to them that you weren't saying it vehemently they will change it to a 14 day suspension!
