Reporting Feature, Does it Work? Or Can it be Better?

HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT AND WHY THE CURRENT FEATURES MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH

So i believe the answer is yes it does work otherwise why would they waste to money to have it programmed.

But sometimes i feel like it doesnt despite really knowing it does, most people report because they hope it works and it only takes a few seconds to do that, well for people like me i feel like over time of reporting and thinking im helping the community isnt really working, so i start to be rude to those who are rude to me i mean most of us do it, its a competitive game and you might be that one person that defends yourself although you barely said anything you still get punished but you dont know if they did you can only hope justice was served for both parties.

For me i feel like thats not good enough and i feel like if Riot makes a feature that notifies you that your report you made hit and was reviewed with a thank you more people would report the toxic non do gooders more often. I mean it works on Overwatch ( yeah i know this is nothing like overwatch) but it doesnt change the fact that reporting someone for actually doing something wrong and you were the one that help do this is oddly satisfying and it almost makes everything that person say to you worth it. Sure i can just not care what people say sure i can just mute everyone, but if everyone did this league would be boring, you wouldnt have those nice games where people thanked you, you wouldnt have those nice games where someone warned you about something that was about to happen that can only be done through text ( I Think Sej is coming to bot lane his blue is respawning soon and hes at his red camp) i mean sure you can ping that but not everyone would know what you mean missing red a trail of pings to blue a danger for bot, but when most people see that they think what?! some people will get that most of you will understand that now mainly cause i just explained it and you connect the text to the pings so now you might look for that.

THE ACTUAL POINT

• Basically all im saying is i feel like we should be Thanked for our reporting not because we simply deserve it but because it will help riot out in the long run sure it will have them do a lot more work in the first place because 90% of games are probably toxic, but soon people will realize getting reported sucks because more people will be encouraged to report because they get feedback for their work theres been times i skip out on reporting cause i just think league is too toxic they wont get in trouble well with that mindset your absolutely right they wont get in trouble cause your not reporting them. but if i saw i was doing work id smack report on everyone that was toxic to someone even if it wasnt towards me i might get that dude next game dont want to deal with it twice.

• A simple UI interface that lets you know your report has been viewed and a thank you for being apart of helping the league community

• It doesnt need to give full details on who got banned or why they got banned/punished to protect their privacy just that someone you reported got banned

• to further protect privacy if someone doesnt report often they will know who and why so you could easily just set when it will be sent to the player or wait till they report X amount of people before the first Thank you was sent

• a simple thank you could be enough i know to get more you could add rewards but i dont see it going will with honor or skins because people will probably start reporting for no reason just to get them people will more likely report someone for a thank you only if they actually did something wrong.

• It works really well on overwatch it gets me to report people it gets my friends to report people, i have facebook friends making post like "really annoying guy insulted us all game was racist and sexiest i wasnt sure if reporting him was worth it until an hour later i get this msg from blizzard" and it was the UI interface that thank her and had a whole heart felt msg and she reports people for that reason to this day because she feels like shes been heard and that she can do something about it.

• i feel like there should also be some sort of report prioritizing thing, like this guy/girl reports often, but most of their reports are fair and valid the reports are good standing we will put this guys reports at the top of our list, but i feel like they should also not credit him to high because someone can easily take advantage of this and report someone cause of a break up not because of a game, so they should still just rely on proof other than just word and credibility but i dont think it should be reverse punished either despite the spite because people have emotions and people do stupid things so maybe just knock him down on the list further unless its obvious its intentionally to deceive you and is a repeated offense in this case his reports shouldnt matter put him at the bottom he still should get seen but why help someone that is preventing you from helping them.

Thats all i really got to say :P Sorry for the long post may have typos and grammar errors not the best at writing when it comes to posts as long as you can understand what i meant is all that matters, but i hope im not the only one that feels this way or think this might actually be a good idea. any other ideas are good too feel free to list them im interested in all opinions even the ones that disprove but i would like a good reason why so i can try to see it from your perspective :D.
