After being trolled the entire year and losing games in series because of afk-ers, in the preseason I get chat restriction and lose ALL REWARDS. Really? 1 chat ban and you lose all rewards. I'm sure this rule was created by some frustrated people who have no respect for other people's time, thinking they will only punish uneducated kids. It's not my fault the community consists of peasants, keyboard warriors, and frustrated kids that have a sole purpose to troll good players just to have the satisfaction to trigger them so they can report. They do this because they have no chance of ever improving so the only thing they have left is to ruin games.

Another unfair thing is that I only see my chat. But you should see the chat of other people in that game. Oh, did I mention that I only typed in the first 15 minutes? And after that, I won the game because I focused and ignored the flaming. Even the enemy team agreed with me and said that I kept trying and managed to win. But even taking my chat out of context, I still think it is no reason for chat ban.

My personal opinion is that the people who voted my chat ban are hypocrites, cause it's easy to judge and feel wise and powerful saying "oh dear, that was so rude, unacceptable..." when you are not the target of the trolling and the frustration. I had 8 afk-ers in a row at gold 1 series. Did I get a reward? No. Instead, I got demoted. Did I deserve that? No. But who cares?

This chat ban just proved to me that the people who think they are "educating" the community are actually bellow standards, and don't have the maturity to judge anything. They should read a book and try to improve on other skills instead of wasting time doing a poor job.

Instead of the chat ban, I propose a better solution. Put a chat limit of 30 messages per every game. That way you will be focused to write only what's important. Such an easy thing. Then you won't have toxic players and you won't have anything to judge.

I'm curious to learn the opinion of other people regarding my chat ban.

You were banned by a fully automated program. The program does not use context so it doesn't matter if you were getting trolled.

Insulting intelligence, rank shaming, harassing, giving up on the game, and I assume you had a chat restriction and a 14 day ban before.

Stop insulting your team mates, it doesn't help.

Say only helpful and encouraging things, those do help.

You spent a good two thirds of that chat log harassing Udyr and being generally negative. That's definitely enough to merit a chat restriction.

Other people's chat doesn't magically change yours. Nobody else but you chooses what you type, and if what you type is in breach of the rules, you get punished for it.

Doesn't matter if you only typed in the first 15 minutes or the last two seconds. If what you typed broke the rules, you're still responsible, and punished accordingly.

And after that, I won the game because I focused and ignored the flaming.

Congrats. Winning the match doesn't absolve you from breaking the rules, though.

You can go ahead and put that personal limitation on yourself, but it's not going to be applied to everyone just because a few bad eggs can't be bothered to adhere to the rules.

I count 63 lines of chat in your log, and I see the harassment starting up before line 30. How much of a difference will halving your allowed chat (based on this chat log alone) d'you think it'd make?

I have been called useless, trash and other words I won't write for self explanatory reasons. The moment the first insult is thrown I mute them, focus, win and report them. No need to answer back. You should try it.

If all you got was a chat restriction, you have until February to get honor 2 for rewards.
