Been recently reset to honor level 0 and wanted to get a more recent reference of how long it took those to get back to level 2. Figured completely ignoring all game chat will speed up the progress. How was your experience like and how long did it take?
Results vary. I wanna say some dude did it in about a month; bur others take 5.

i stress that last part bc ANY valid report EVEN IF THAT REPORT DOES NOT LEAD DIRECTLY TO A PUNISHMENT will bring your progress to a screeching halt
Depends on what class you play honestly. Unfortunately Honor's are mostly MVP badges at this point, with the vast majority of them going to the person with the best KDA. So Carry classes get them faster.
Been several months (Like 5-6?), since I got to Honor 0. Now Im barely honor 1 still... And playing many many games per day...
First time I get banned , playing since Season 2... They have lowered the sensitivity for the Bot to Ban, I guess...
PS: its faster on bots, coz games are shorter, and everyone Honors someone else.
