I really think perma banning someone for toxic language is too severe. You guys should create a perma mute instead so people who arent toxic ingame can still play but cant talk. Perma banning is okay if someone trolls a bunch and does that sort of stuff but toxicicity shouldnt be that way.
They already did try perma-chat. They still find other ways to ruin people's game. Permabans are not harsh in any way shape or form. Toxic players who have no self-control, lack empathy, or simply enjoy the game at other people's expense, they're the only harsh thing about this game.
The punishments are for them. Due to the fact they're harsh to the community. If players stop being assholes and play the game for what it is, then they won't endure the consequences of their own actions.
This has been suggested, then tried, failed, and continued to be suggested after it failed.
Turns out people who are toxic in chat, and don't have chat to release their frustration, just end up inting instead. Toxic people are gonna find a way no matter what.
Muted trash is still trash, will still ruin games, and is still a liability just by their inability to communicate.
There is no reason to hurt everyone else in order to go easy on the trash. Taking it out where nobody can smell it works best.

If permanent chat restriction is the only way to stop being toxic for these people, then they can do that themselves. Deactivate chat
