There are over 360 banned words in riot's system

Those aren't necessarily "banned words", and many of them don't result in a ban even if used a ton. The list referenced is merely a list of words that the client filters/censors in game chat if that feature is enabled. Many people disable it precisely because they feel it's overzealous - but it's there as an option for someone who wants any word remotely offensive to be censored.

For example, curse words (shit, fuck, damn, ass, etc) will not get you banned even if you say them 10+ times in a game. It's all in how you use them.

On the other hand, hate speech will get you banned on the spot.

Banned words or banned strings? Even if they banned a word, they'd have to watch for alternative spellings from people trying to bypass the censor.

Also, wouldn't the list of banned words would (probably) encompass multiple languages.

If you can think of 30 words in English which deserve to be banned, it wouldn't be surprising if the other languages had just as many (or more) words/phrases which needed to be censored.

Could include the "get around filter" words like the n word with one g
