honour resets for nothing and toxic players still being in every game.

**I have been given a chat restriction and honour reset for a game where i have been abused and told that they hope my mum dies. i was last check honour point 4 and have been working hard to get to 5.

**of course i probably shouldnt have responded at all, but someone talking about my mother and other things makes it hard not to respond.

My problem is is anything i've said worthy of undoing 6months of work.

I understand how frustrating certain game situations can be, especially being provoked by others or if your teammates aren't helping. :( However, fighting fire with fire is only going to escalate the situation, creating a negative experience for everyone involved.

Every player is only judged based on their own actions. If you feel like other players are being offensive or unsportsmanlike, feel free to use the report as well as the mute functions. When you report, that player's behavior is investigated and an action is taken based on that. If you decide to take matters into your own hands, it's no longer considered justice, but revenge.

Chat negativity can take many forms. There's a common misconception that it only refers to profanity or racism for example. However, our punishment system is much more complex. We define as negative attitude anything from being argumentative, insulting others, demotivating your teammates, being sarcastic, whining, excessively calling for reports to simply spamming the chat. All those behaviors are really disruptive for everyone involved.

I understand why it might look like others are 'getting away' with much worse, but I can assure you that is simply not the case. As far as any punishments applied to other accounts, we are unable to disclose any of that information because of privacy concerns.

As for the chat restrict, it is merely a warning, that we do not accept negative behavior in our games. Be that profanity, insulting others, being argumentative, spamming, etc. I'm afraid we cannot make any exceptions here, I hope you can understand our position.

All that being said, the takeaway here isn't that you are a terrible player and that we wish to punish you. You're actually doing great on avoiding cursing! I would just advise you to refrain from engaging with trolls when you do occasionally meet them.

how can i appeal my case and actually get someone to review the game ?

its almost every ranked game i play that i have afks or people saying racist or homophobic things , but i get punished for this.

You were pretty toxic there, and their actions are completely and utterly irrelevant, and always will be, unless they are physically forcing you into taking the actions.

It was reviewed. Your actions were reviewed. Their actions are not the ones being called into question here, your actions are.

Out of curiosity, not that it matters, did they make the comments before or after you had already been megative in chat?

You used chat yo be aggressive, and regardless of what your teammate did; you are still responsible for what you said.

Can I ask what exactly is toxic about what I said specifically? Like toxic enough for a chat restriction in your opinion ? Also why is. Everyone that types like this not getting restrictions? Because I see this kind of thing almost every league game I play .

And everything negative typed was in response , not that that matters I'm accountable for my actions still. I just believe my actions were not worthy of undoing 6 months of clean chat.

Is this really considered that bad by everyone ? And if it is why do I see it in most games ? I could be completely wrong in my opinion on what's acceptable, but it's hard when I see this so often that I assumed it's accepted in the community.

So I got a second response and this guy was a lot more helpful, i see it was from multiple games now and have come to terms with the fact I was in the wrong. Guess I'll just have to grind way back . (Zoe message was to a friend lol oops)

Since this punishment isn't making too much sense for you, I'll do my best to explain.

In order to better understand how the system works, please bear in mind the following :

The behavior that's not tolerated in the game is more than just the use of "bad words", it also includes being rude, negative, arguing, provoking, blaming, making fun of other players, giving up on the game, spamming, asking for reports, threatening to mute/report/to get someone banned, constantly complaining, etc.

Each player is responsible for his behavior and others' negative actions do not excuse our own. We treat each case separately, we do not compare it with others.

A punishment is based on the player's behavior and his account's punishment history.

1 report is enough for a player to be investigated and punished if he's found guilty.

Due to privacy concerns, we won't be able to talk about other players' accounts. In this ticket, we'll be talking only about your account. Rest assured that the same rules apply to all players and if you reported someone who broke the rules, the system investigated him and took appropriate action.

With that in mind, let's take a look over a few lines from your chat logs :

As it can be seen, you were provoking other players, threatening that they'll get banned, were negative and rude. Your chat log consists mostly of negativity. That being said, this chat restriction was correctly placed.

I know that it takes time to level up your honor and that it sucks to lose many levels now. The honor demotion is part of the punishment, so I'm afraid that it can't be reverted, you'll have to level it up again.

The system isn't as harsh as you might think. If you saw other players displaying the same behavior as you and you think that they haven't received a punishment yet, it might be true. This is because the system usually won't punish you the first time you are rue or negative - but it keeps a close eye on your behavior to see if it improves. For example, here are some lines from some of your games that you played before getting punished :

The system didn't took action back then because it didn't consider it enough yet for a punishment but it kept track of your behavior and decided to take action now.

Please bear in mind that the rules of the game are the same for all players, regardless of them investing money in their accounts or not.

Its not going to get any better. You know why? These people are goin got get banned but they can just make another account. Therefore the toxicity is still there and they know just not to buy anything and theyll be good.
