Problem with honor system lock

l started playing lol after 4 years a few weeks ago, and today l got chat ban and honor lock. Was l salty in a game? Yes, l was. Did l flame a lot? Enough to burn a building! l am ok with chat ban but to get honor from lvl 2 to 1 is a bit too much. Honor is the only way to get skins for free with key fragments. And to cut down the only way to get free stuff just because someone was salty or flamed is stupid. For stuff like that, you should get few days bans or chat ban but not honor lock. Getting higher honor rank is hard on is own and as l heard people need at least few months to unlock their honor again. And l am sure that people who say stuff like: noob, you are bad,l2p and sometimes idiot(aka me) should not be punished same as people who say:l hope your family dies, get a rope or even worst things. Putting in place such a harsh system will not reduce the amount of salt in this game at all. You are just forcing player base to act unnaturally. There is no online game without even a bit of salt. Many people like me are chill and good teammates most of the time but sometimes a person is tired, have a stressful day or anything like that and than to relax that person go to the game of lol just to be greeted by people who are saying l hope your family dies and things like that. Person just cant control it and to get few months without rewards because of few games with flame is just stupid

it only takes months to unlock honor if you are still showing toxicity, regardless of how severe it is. If you manage to show reform, most people can get back to H2 within a month.

That said, the only difference between H1 and H2 are just the rate you get key-fragments. H2 has a cap of 12 key-frags a month (ignoring the ones you get at checkpoints). H1 has a cap of 4 key-frags a month.

If you want more freebies, you gotta be a good boy.
