I thought this video was fairly interesting, and i figured any of you who frequent this board would find it interesting as well. I think it sheds some light on how trolling in league starts and how it proliferates.

Seeing other players as actual human beings goes a long way toward preventing toxicity.

I say most of the griefers we bump into are reacting to bad players matched against better players. Probably for the reasons of proving one can climb, instead of grind.

Just people with a certain expectation and then realising people aren't performing to their expectations, causing them to loose themselves.

The way the video described what makes a troll makes me realize that this covers a good portion of very many online gamers who are in their early to mid teenage years.

The Dark Triad/Tetrad seems to heavily reinforce this.

From what this video is saying, it seems as though trolls have similar traits to criminals. This video is very interesting to watch and it puts into perspective what kind of influence the Internet has on people, either making people more social or, in this case, more selfish.

It's a shame that scishow is generally very professional; I was hoping they would bring it up as GIFT, in addition to the actual published discussion on the behaviors
