Occasional Champ Select Leaving Affect LeaverBuster?

If you occasionally leave champ select right after joining the game, will it affect LeaverBuster? It's very rare sometimes after you've been playing a lot of games you're not sure if you want to play another one or quit and if you are leaning towards leaving it's better for your team to have someone who will be more invested in the game.

I know it's annoying when you're looking for a game and people keep leaving, so I don't do it very often. I'm not talking about dodging because of champions or anything as usually I leave before I even look at what the team is doing if I've suddenly decided I'd rather not play.

While queue dodge penalty and leaver buster penalty are both called "low priority queue", those two systems are not related to each other.

Queue dodge is a time-based punishment, where as leaver buster is a game-based punishment. Meaning your dodge timer will be gone after 5-30 mins, so you can do something else and come back and play, where as you have to queue and play games for leaver buster's penalty to dissipate.
