Something Terrible Happend to me, But Im the one who got Suspended.

So yesterday I was having fun just spamming normal games, sometimes trying to get akali since the rework. I finally got mid, and locked her in. Everything's going fine right? Then one of my team mates starts getting really mad at me for picking her, saying he wanted it, and called me a looser among other things. He told me to "kys" and auto locked, get this, Yasuo "Support". We got into game and he took mid anyways, and I wanted to tell the enemy team why there was a random seeming akali in the game now. So i said "Yasuo told me to kys and went mid anyways" Later in the game the enemy Shaco told the Yasuo he should have given mid to me, and i said "He also shouldn't have told me to kys" That game ended, seemingly just a strange game with a mean person, so I reported him. Right after the next game I played, I've been suspended from my account for 14 days. He must have reported me too...for "Abusive Comms" This was the In game ticket with the reason i was suspended: (also the attachment)

I didn't flame, was told to kill myself, and got suspended for the duration of the entire pool party event. If RIOT see's this at all, do you think they will un-suspend me and give me my honor 5 back? My intention never was to flame or be cruel, but i certiantly didn't deserve an entire suspension.

It's fucking stupid, but I would be willing to bet $100 you were banned for repeating "kys" into the chat. That shit gets auto filtered or something for automatic bans.

Submit a support ticket or try Live chat.

For future reference, don't repeat stupid when someone says it. If you repeated this would be a false positive of zero tolerance.

You can probably just maybe contest this with riot support, but this is technically justified because you did in fact use a zero tolerance phrase though. However, in this circumstance you can heavily argue you actually werent that negative. Again, heavily suggest the ticket.

Just next time if someone says it, dont repeat it. Stay quiet and report them yourself after the game.

It's because you repeated "kys" most likely. Open a support ticket and explain what happened and they should hopefully overturn that for you.

I honestly do think the system is flawed. They just have trigger words, however there is not a lot of fixes for it. By fixes I mean ways to improve system.

The system is pretty messed up. Yes players should be punished for flaming, but I think the report system needs to do a better job at punishing players who provoke others into rage. I'm not saying that it's okay to be toxic and say bad things to someone, but the players who run it down mid and int, steal someone's role and taunt them about it, follow them around and steal their farm all game, etc. are certainly not helping the situation. The automated system definitely needs to improve when it comes to these provokers who are toxic through their in-game actions rather than the chat log I feel, as currently they are rarely punished when they ruin the game for others.

Yeah this seems like a case where you got flagged for using zero tolerance language. Riot support might revert the punishment, but keep in mind that it is never okay nor even necessary to repeat offensive things that others have said. For one it only takes your one report to get them reviewed by the IFS, additional reports would not stack. And for two, repeating something harmful that another user says is just as bad as saying it yourself, because you're still exposing other people to the zero tolerance language. For example, if you had said, "he said kys" in all chat when he only said it in team chat, you wind up exposing 5 other people to that language who would not have been exposed to it otherwise.

I wish you the best of luck with getting this punishment reversed, and I hope that you learn from the experience and never repeat another player's zero tolerance language again.

It is hard to believe you are Honor 5. You first get chatbans and 7 day ban before the final warning of 14 day ban. Also not just 1 report from 1 match leads to shuch ban I believe. There must be more chatlogs from other games.

Don't repeat the negative stuff people say to you, this happens constantly and it gives trolls and flamers instant firepower to shoot you down. Don't say "Yasuo also called me a f---ot," don't say "Yasuo also called me a n---er," don't say "He said to KYS," do not ever repeat the foul and toxic language that people say to you because they will use it against you 100% of the time if you're on their shit list. This should be pretty evident considering that they use chat logs to punish people based on trigger words and things like that. Just don't do it.

You've only got a 14 day ban. At least if you don't repeat anything like this again, you won't get escalated to a permanent ban.
