How not to get banned?
Basically I had a 14 day suspension and now I am afraid to lose my account. Would it be okay if from now on I just /mute all ? Can muting everyone from start get me in trouble?

No, you can't get punished for muting players. If anyone is giving you trouble in chat it is preferable that you do. I don't recommend muting everyone from the start so that you can communicate with them until they become a problem, but if you feel you need to /mute all right off the bat then by all means do it.
Hell, you can even tell people "I'm trying to work on being less toxic so I'm muting everyone. I will communicate with pings." If someone did that I wouldn't be pissed at them. Also, just because you mute everyone doesn't mean they can't hear you when you type so you can still type things like "gj" when your team does well.

It was never NOT OKAY to use /mute all.
It's always an option if you're dealing with people you don't want to deal with. It will never get you in trouble for muting someone.
as long as you don't type and run it mid then you're fine
I /muteall every game and have never gotten in trouble.
you can start by muting people and not responding and using chat as a place to rage/flame/ call names/ insult ect. but a better starting point would be to personally change your behavior because its the mature thing to do. and when you stop acting like an assclown and act as a mature individual you wouldnt have to worry about being banned at all. and if you do it and other people see your example it will soon spread and we will have a peaceful utopia community on league. best of luck
If you know that you're going to say something negative or something that can be perceived as "toxic", don't even bother with trying to communicate with your team. /mute all . Trust me on this. Getting your account permabanned just so you can flame someone that you're probably not going to ever see again in ranked is NOT worth it.
I am currently sitting on a 2-week ban because I decided to negatively respond to another person that saying negative things about me. I know myself very well. I am the type of person who hates getting hurt both physically and emotionally. If you hurt me, you can expect me to fight back. Thats what I did and I got reported so riot is punishing me. Does this mean I'm going to reflect and "reform"? No. I am simply not going to respond and the moment a teammate says something negative about me, I will mute them and report them after the game. This is my smurf account but I don't want it to get permabanned because leveling an account to 30 takes alot of time. Just play by riot's rules. We already know theres so many flaws and problems with this company's way of handling their game and community so pick your fights wisely. If you have something negative to say, vent on the forums. The worst thing that happens is that you get a bunch of downvotes and maybe riot removes your thread.
