I got hacked and permabanned for it?

Hey guy's so my account name is Dogwelder on euw and after playing since just before the release of gnar in 2014 and never being suspended a single time my account was recently hacked and the hacked played 3 games of nexus blitz with scripts with champions I don't play. After being a loyal customer with over 2000 hours in the game and hundreds of euros riot has decided that it was, in fact, my fault that I was hacked as the security of my account is my own fault. As "nice" as his response his I was basically just told to f**k myself after years of playing because a hacker that clearly is not me played 3 games with scripts. I don't even know what I want from posting this but I'm just so lost I guess.

The problem is, if they said ok np, everyone would use the hacked excuse. That is why Riot bans accounts and not players (except of special cases), for the things that happen on the account.

I suggest you figure out how you were hacked. It does no good for Riot to reinstate your account if you leave open the same security breaches that got you hacked to begin with.

Man. They can check the ip. Thay know if irs you or not you. So if youre still banned. There's a reason.

Kinda interesting, this Duscussion and these posts are all from a year ago and I just hit the same problem, so, im kinda in a good mood right now, i got hacked, smb played 5 games of ARUrf aaaaand my account has been permanently banned for scripting, well its kinda funny how they dont seem to go forward with this problem since THIS is a major problem, customers inversting money and time, just to lose it on the spot, without anything we could have done other than changing our password every 2-3 days. Seriously nobody could have guessed my password, its way to long, i used it only for this one account. This account is basically lost forever, time, money and achievements...gone....due to a random hacker that just played a funmode.....this is....sadening.....and Im stunned by the way I just got shoved away like some bad guy, trying to unbann his cheat account.....

i am having the exact same problem as you are rn its kinda frustrating that riot wont do anything about it tbh. im p sure this came about with the collection#1 hacks that surfaced recently it seems to line up pretty perfeectly with these recent hacks. its really frustrating when uve been playing on an account for over 2.5k hours and it just gets taken away because someone breached it due to a leak that millions of people were affected by

Yup! Same problem for me. Had a break from league for a while. Updated the client today and tried to log on. Didn't work. Recovered it. loged on and saw my account where i've been playing countless of hours and spent money on were perma banned because of third party program.....happy days. The question now is, make new account or just leave it. Spent to much time and money already to play several hours just to be able to play ranked

here is the issue, if you are trying to prove that your account was hacked and stolen, then they will ask you questions to varify that your account was in fact taken.

The second issue, people really dont steal accounts just to get them banned, thats is HIGHLY uncommon and by how many people make this excuse and how many are actually real leads me to believe that this is falsified.

Also, tickets are what you need, the boards cant help you much here, if tickets dont work sorry man.
