not as it seems?

So here's the story.

I queue up for a game today and I get a lux support , as i am ADC. And right into it i didnt heal him even though he was certainly going to die, and he got mad about it and started flaming me. So as the game went on he would intentionally take bad fights, die, and then blame me for his death, and i was trying to get him to calm down and reason with him, but it went on, all the while he was being toxic to me.

Now heres were things get weird, my team was sympathizing with him and blaming me, while i was being pretty light hearted about the whole thing.

so after the game i report the lux and move onto my next queue. i didnt get any punishment feedback so the lux didnt receive anything despite his terrible behavior.

Next game the lux is on the enemy team, playing lux again, and he does the same thing he did in my previous game, and then everyone in this game agrees to report lux, and then i get the report feedback that the lux was punished.

So riot claims that one report is enough to get a game viewed and have the player punished if they did something wrong, but in this case the claim doesnt seem to hold true, the lux was acting worse in my first game, but i was the only person to report him, so he didnt get punished, but then multiple reports in the second game actually got him punished. Make of it what you will.

Riot claims that one report is enough to get a game viewed. Stop there. Riot also says that one game is usually not enough to warrant punishment, unless the offense is extreme. A reported game is checked, and if the report was valid, the offense goes on the player's record. With enough games on the record, the player gets punished.

Multiple reports against one player in a game don't count any more than a single report.

There needs to be a history of games before the punishment is delivered. (Exceptions exist for extreme cases.)

Think of it this way. Lux played a game before the game with you and was reported. Lux now ques and is in a game with you. Obviously at least one person reported her. Now the last game happens and she is reported a third time for probably the same things. (assume yours got tossed out since you already reported in the game before. [this may be wrong but it makes sense to avoid one person reporting the same person over and over.] Anyways, Lux now has a history of this negative behavior and has been punished.

It is also safe to assume this probably happened for more than 3 games
